Mumbai, Actress Shruti Haasan
enjoys acting but, unlikeher father Kamal Haasan,she isn't too keen on filmdirection. However, writingfor films is something shewon't mind in future.
"Everyone says, 'I wantto become director'. It iseasy to be a director, but itis very difficult to be a gooddirector. I haven't thoughtabout it. I like wr itingthough. That is somethingI enjoy the most. I haveplans, but let's see," Shrutitold IANS.
Asked if she would liketo write for films or get intoscripting some day, shesaid: "Maybe I will write forfilms. Right now I have toomuch on my plate."
Shruti, 27, doesn'teven have any plans toshare her life with some-one as of now, and shelikes her independence.
"I haven't really thoughtabout settling down. I ampersonally living alone. Liv-ing in is a big question youknow. My mother (Sarika)lives two to three streets

Veena Malik, whose"Zindagi 50-50" releasedthis Friday, says she is aborn actor. She feels sheis responsible for the filmshe signs from day one ofher association with it tillits release.
"I am not a seasonalactor that I will do actingfor some time and thenmove on to some otherprofession. I am born toact. I am a responsible ac-tor. It is my responsibilityto stand with my film frombeginning to end," Veenasaid here dur ing thescreening of her film.
Veena has gone out ofher way to promote herfilm "Zindagi 50-50", di-rected by Rajiv S. Ruia.
She plays a sex workerin the film and recently sheeven promoted the film inKamathipura, a red lightarea in Mumbai.
"Whenever I sign afilm, I feel from day one tillthe date my film doesn't hitthe theaters, it is my re-sponsibility - whether I amunwell or unhappy about
something, but I have totake out time to promotethe film," she added.
