In the light of above backdrop the paper envisages a descriptive and analytical study of the “Bailment governed by Statue” under the Indian Contract law.

This is also an attempt to understand and analyze the concept of having bailment without a contract.The objective of the research is to study and determine the impact of statue on bailment and how bailment can occur even without a contract.
