Judy Garland, Arthur God- frey, Edie Adams, Sid Caesar and Dinah Shore are among the vari- ety-show stars. Taking the schedules chronolo- gically, the week's highlights shape up as follows: Edie Adams, with an assist from the comedy team of Rowan and Martin, will appear in one of her short specials Sunday night (9:30-10 EST) on ABC. Then, at 10, Dinah Shore on NBC will en- tertain for an hour — a show with singers Joan Sutherland and Ella Fitzgerald. Arthur Godfrey, in his second special of the season, will be seen on CBS on Monday night (8:38- 9:38) in an affectionate light- hearted exploration of the animal kingdom.
