In addiƟon to focusing on concrete dierences in diagnosƟc criteria, the presenter will highlight empirical evidence for these changes and will review research suggesƟng the need for more dramaƟc changes on how psychopathology is organized and diagnosed in future ediƟons of the manual. Describe empirical evidence for more dramatic changes to psychodiagnosis that can be anticipated in future editions of DSM-5. Presenter Biography: Christopher J. Hopwood, Ph.D. is an as-

sistant professor of clinical psychology at

Michigan State University and licensed

clinical psychologist in the state of Michi-

gan. He received his Ph.D. from Texas

A&M University and completed his clinical

internship at Massachusetts General Hos-

pital/Harvard Medical School. He has

been active in research related to the clas-

sification of psychopathology for several

years, and is currently an Associate Editor

of the Journal of Personality Disorders

and the Journal of Personality Assess-
