In order to access the online housing questionnaire, you will need to have paid your $500.00 enrollment

deposit. You may do so in your MyWPI portal. Each student will receive their login information sent to

their @highpoint.edu email address approximately 24 hours after paying their enrollment deposit.

Please make sure to check your HPU email often for important information throughout the weeks and

months leading to Move-In Day.

1. Visit www.highpoint.edu/myhome.

2. Click the “Login” button or “Click HERE to login with your High Point University credentials”. If

you click on “Click HERE to login with your High Point University credentials”, then you can skip

head to step #4.

3. Scroll down to “HPU STUDENT LOGIN” and click the blue button.

4. Enter your USERNAME and your PASSWORD and click “Sign In”.

5. Click the “NEW HOUSING APPLICATION” link, located on the top left of the screen.

6. Select the Term (Calendar Year 2018-2019) by clicking the blue box, “Apply”.

7. Step 1- Welcome: Click the blue box, “Save & Continue”.

8. Step 2- Housing Profile Survey: This is your chance to tell us more about yourself. The Office of

Student Life will use this to help match you with a compatible roommate. We ask that the

student completes this portion, NOT PARENTS, to ensure a more accurate roommate pairing.

You must answer all questions, and click “SAVE & CONTINUE”.

9. Step 2- Room Preferences: This step allows you to indicate your housing preferences. Your

selections need to be made in order, first choice being your top preference in housing and so

forth. Minimally four selections MUST be made.

Please click on the blue box, “ADD PREFERNCE”.

Please click on the drop down arrow to select a Location.

Once a location has been selected, you must also select the room type preference by clicking on

the drop down menu located next to Preference. Please note that certain locations only have on

room choice.

Then click the blue button, “OK”

Continue to follow the steps included in number 9 until you have minimal selected 4 housing

options. After indicating your housing preferences, click “Save & Continue”.

10. Step 3- Online Contract:

Please read the High Point University Residence Hall Community Contract and agree to the

terms by entering your Student ID number and clicking “Save & Continue” at the bottom of the

page. * Please note, if you are under the age of 18 years old at the time of the housing contract

completion, you will have to provide information on your parent/guardian. Your parent/guardian

will receive an e-mail (to the e-mail address you have provided) and they will have to agree to

the all terms. Instructions for students under the age of 18 are included below:

11. You have successfully completed your Housing Application for the 2018-2019 Academic year.

For students (only) who are under the age of 18, follow the following steps for the contract:

1. Please click the blue button, “Add”.

1. Please provide the First name, Last Name and e-mail address of your Parent/Guardian in each

text box, enter your Student ID number and then click the blue button “Save & Continue”

(please note that your parent/guardian will need to provide the information just as you have

submitted it).

2. Your parent/guardian will receive an e-mail with detailed instructions on how to complete your

housing application. Please be aware that you are not eligible to be assigned housing until your

parent/guardian signs off on the housing contract.

3. Once your parent/guardian as completed the proxy agreement your housing application has

been completed.
