The Institute of Management Sciences, based in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is a young, innovative, and enterprising business school en route to compete with the foremost management schools of the country. The Institute is dedicated to its unique approach (at least in the region) of providing management education based in cutting-edge research and comprehensive training. Unlike conventional academic institutes, IM|Sciences broaden its educational focus in response to new trends in the developing field of management. Based on the social values of integrity, honesty, professional excellence and a broad vision of life, the Institute aims to provide educational experience that transforms its students into business leaders at par with international managers, executives, and entrepreneurs. Since its inception in 1995, the school’s academic rigor and avant-garde approach to management education have produced alumnae that shape the world of business at regional, national, and international level. Presently, the Institute is offering a range of courses, undergraduate programs, and graduate degrees in the fields of Management, Computer Science and Information Technology, Planning and Policy Analysis, Banking, Finance and Accounting, Marketing, Health Service and Hospital Management, and Local Government and Public Enterprises. The enrichment of academic programs over the years, the establishment of Liberal Arts Program, and the construction of our new inspiring, and state-of-the-art campus have provided us with a great platform to build upon and we aim to transform the Institute into a full-fledged top-notch university.

About GMCs

The Graduate Management Certificates programme is aimed to provide career information to university students with the objective to become familiar with job environment prior to start their jobs. GMCs is also enhancing the existing knowledge of on job professionals on concepts, methodologies and practices pertaining to their job with the objective to link them with literature. GMCs can take several formats depending on type of organizations, but here in IM/Sciences we will look for the shorter format in both durations and contents.

Most of organization recruiting graduates from premier Pakistani business institutes and invest thousands in their on-job trainings. So far, there is no such institute which offers Graduate Management Trainings for general university students, IM|Sciences is the first one who took the responsibility of conducting these tailor made trainings. You all are invited to join the country premier institute for the most precise but comprehensive training programmes.

Grants / Financial Aid Office

Grants / Financial Aid Office have the honor of serving students by ensuring their access to the higher education irrespective of their financial constraints. This office is managing a complex portfolio of 44 different need based financial aid, merit based scholarships, student loans, work-study and international student exchange programmes. The geographical spread of these projects covers the Federally Administered Tribal Areas, Malakand Division, Chitral and other rural areas of Khyber Pukhtunkhwa and Pakistan. The development of these programmes is based on updated skills and knowledge in inter-agency agreements, intra-agency agreements, cooperative agreements, cost-share agreements, participating agreements, and memoranda of understanding and highly technical special projects. We are aimed at contributing to the establishment of a self-sustainable resource generation mechanism for IM|Sciences Advancement and Development. Our mission is to fulfill the development and advancement needs of IM|Sciences and to enable the Institute to play its role in the regional and national development with support of business sector, corporations, development sector and the community at large.

We are motivated to maintain beneficial relations with significant number of stake holders including Development Sector, International Organizations, NGOs, Government of Pakistan, National and International Foundations, Partner Universities for developing Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and Khyber Pukhtunkhwa population. The ultimate goal of this office is to motivate our young generation towards Higher Education, to achieve the national targets of Poverty Reduction, Economic Development and Social Change. We have successfully managed Rs. 505.46 Million / 5,539,321.84 $ USD in last 6 years, under 46 different programmes and facilitated 5,105 students for higher education.
