Why indoor air must be professionally treatedWith 20,000 breaths a day, we draw 12,000 litres of air into our lungs in order to extract the oxygen we need from it. It is this air that determines the indoor climate at home and at work – and all too often it is far from perfect. Untreated air is not only dry, but often really «dirty» – because it is laden with dust, pollen, cigarette smoke and bacteria.

If the air lacks moisture, we don’t feel good«Thirsty air» needs the active addition of water to prevent it from drawing the moisture nee-ded by our mucous membranes, skin, plants and wooden objects. Heated rooms at our latitudes produce over-dry air, especially in winter – because the colder the air is, the less moisture it can hold. That’s why at outdoor temperatures around the freezing point, the relative humidity indoors drops markedly – often to less than 20 %! Ideally treated indoor air should therefore not only be cleaned, but ideally humidified at the same time. We per-ceive a humidity of 40 – 60 % as ideal. This is also recommended by medical experts.

The Air Washers humidify and clean the air without the need for filter mats. Specially tex- tured humidification discs turn in the water, which adds moisture to the air. The water acts as a natural filter, which cleans the air of impurities (e.g. dust, pollen and particle- bound odours). The self-regulating evaporation principle ensures the correct humidity in the room, as the air automatically draws as much moisture as it needs at any given moment.

Air Washers can be used all year round and are especially suited for allergy sufferers, due to their natural cleaning principle, without the need for additives.

Powerful and high humidification performance for an optimal air climate

This Air Washer possesses a manually adjusta- ble power mode, which additionally heats up the air on demand. Through the air heating, dry air can absorb moisture faster and a high humidification performance is rendered pos-sible. The various device functions can be easily adjusted by the digital touch panel. The three power levels, the timer, the cleaning indicator as well as the automatic shut-off in case of empty tank belong to the special features. Due to the display dimming in the sleep mode, the air washer ensures pleasant sleeping comfort. In the auto and sleep mode, the air humidity is automatically controlled, in order to guarantee the optimal value of 55 % relative air humidity.

Easy-care Air Washer with cleaning mode in «high-gloss design»

Modern touch panel and extended functions characterize the classic designed Air Washer. The special cleaning mode lets the humidifier discs and the water base be cleaned easily and comfortably. In the decalcification phase, only the humidifier discs rotate and the fan re-mains shut off, so that no humidification takes place. The convenient reminder function indi-cates when the device needs maintenance, be that due to low water level, need for cleaning or ISS replacement. For an optimal air climate, the air humidity can be controlled at «the push of a button» thanks to the integrated hygrostat. Due to the two power levels «Normal Mode» and «Night Mode» as well as the dimmer func-tion of the display, the air washer is perfectly suitable for the bedroom.

Humidification, cleaning and scenting in one

Thanks to pre-ionisation, the air is efficiently cleaned of impurities such as dust, pollen and particle-bound odours. This involves cleaning the indoor air naturally the way the rain does, without chemical additives, and is particularly suitable for allergy sufferers. An integrated fragrance container for essential oils creates additional well-being. The appliance has two operation modes and works particularly quietly, due to the special airflow.

The air is humidified and additionally cleaned by the self-regulating evaporation principle and the use of unique humidifier discs. Partic-les of dust, pollen and dirt adhere particularly well to the honeycomb structure of the disc’s surface. The air washer is simple and convenient to operate and has two operating modes for normal and especially quiet nighttime operation. Because it cleans and humidifies at the same time, the appliance can be used all year round and is particularly suitable for allergy sufferers.

The quiet, self-regulating principle of evapo-ration involves a fan drawing the dry indoor air through a floating evaporator mat, which fills itself with water and recirculates the air into the room with an ideal level of humidity. Besides the humidification process, the air is simultaneously washed and cleaned of dust and dirt particles. Almost constant humidification is guaranteed, whatever the water level.

This compact evaporator convinces with its high evaporation performance and for this rea- son it is also suitable for larger rooms. The cleaning and maintenance is easy to handle, the tank and the base can be cleaned in the dish washer. The water tank with handle can be comfortably filled with the big opening; the water level is well visible due to its transpar- ence. A practical detail is the cable storage, which lets the excess cable be neatly accom-modated in the device housing.

Thanks to effective high-frequency technology, the water is converted into a micro-fine mist and given off to the indoor air by a fan. The powerful demineralisation cartridge provides water mist without limescale. The low-noise appliances have a very high level of humidification, which can be individually controlled by an integrated hygrostat and output control. As the room temperature can fall slightly as the mist evaporates, most ultrasonic humidifiers can be set to give off cool or warm humidification at the press of a button.

Cool or warm humidity can be produced by the push of a button. In winter, warm mist pre-vents a drop in room temperature; in summer, cool mist provides pleasant freshness. The hygrostat controls the relative humidity, which can be set as required. The water output can be set using the output control. The mist can be distributed in the room in two directions using the double jet nozzle. The dimmer of the digital display enables particularly convenient nighttime operation. An empty indicator shows you when it is time to add water.

Ultrasonic humidifier in the Tower-Design – space-saving with large tank volume

The Tower-Design lets this ultrasonic humidifier function very gracefully and finds space any-where. All functions are controlled by the multifunctional digital display. The integrated hygrostat displays the current air humidity and allows a manual regulation. If a constant relative humidity is desired to be adjusted to the room temperature, this is ensured by the Auto- and Sleep-mode. Moreover, the duration of operation can be limited by the timer. The reminder notices for the cleaning and water filling ensures an optimal state of the device. The humidifier offers the choice of warm or cool humidification that flows out from the double jet nozzle.
