Solution: Develop one solid curriculum for each age group within the program

Benefits: Students will learn better with reinforcement of the material throughout the month and will not get bored with the content, staff will be able to easily prepare for each week’s lessons

Benefits: We will be able to reach children before they develop negative behaviors and will focus on the prevention rather than treatment of behaviors

Solution: Create a new class for students ages 5 and 6 (or kindergartners and first graders) called “PACE Jr.” that runs twice a week from 3:30-6:00 pm

Benefits: Parents will be more likely to enroll their younger children and we will maximize the number of children we reach per year

Solution 1: Visit schools during in-service days to give a presentation to teachers, counselors, and administrators about our program

Solution 2: Offer our services as guest speakers and run fun sample programs at the schools to get kids excited about our program

Solution 3: Distribute new flyers and brochures about our program throughout the community, including in offices of pediatricians, counselors, etc. throughout the community

Benefits: Increased enrollment in our program, the community will better understand our program and its goals

Solution: Provide a 30-minute parent class once a month that introduces what we will be working on with their children that month

Benefits: Parents will be empowered to reinforce positive changes at home which will lead to greater success for our students

Solution: Allow graduating students to return for a month to “refresh” their knowledge of a particular subject

Benefits: We can be a powerful support system for parents once their child graduates and continue to keep our former students on the right track
