The gridline remains visible, even after standard clearing procedures, which assures accurate analysis of visual particulate matter and asbestos levels. The new gridline provides ease of particle counting when using phase contrast microscopy for NIOSH method 7400. GN-4 Metricel membrane, composed of mixed cellulose esters (MCE) is useful for a range of air sampling applications. The membrane possesses low artifacts and clears completely for minimal interference in fibre counting. It is available in 0.8 ~n pore size with diameters ranging from 25-47 mm. The membrane is available plain (non-gridded) for use with transmission electron microscopy (TEM) analysis when performing NIOSH method 7402. The 25 and 37 mm discs are also available preloaded in Air Monitoring Cassettes. Further Informatlon from: Gelman Sciences, 600 South Wagner Road, Ann Arbor, M148103-9019, USA. Tel: +1 313 665 0651.
