Sanitation Workers of the State. Under this

scheme, about 20,000 core sanitation

workers and their families covering one lakh

The Kolkata Young Reader's Tramcar,

started jointly by the West Bengal Transport

Corporation (WBTC) and Apeejay Anand

Children's Library.

The one-of-its-kind tram library programme

was launched on November 14, 2020, a day

dedicated to children.

It is a massive beneficiary scheme --

covering almost 22 lakh families across the

state.

An amount of Rs 830 per month will be

given to the qualified 22 lakh families to

purchase fundamental items like medicines,

pulses, sugar, etc and the state government

will spend Rs 2,400 crore annually.

scheme West Bengal It will ensure ₹5 lakh insurance to every

family to the entire State.

67 Fire Safety

Compliance Portal Gujarat

This is a new mechanism for approval and

renewal of fire safety certifications for

buildings.

As part of the new system, the government

has approved the process of training and

empanelling private ‘fire safety officers

(FSOs)’ to carry out periodic inspection,

testing and maintenance of fire safety

systems in buildings and renewal of

certificates.

It will be implemented under the Mahatma

Gandhi National Rural Employment

Guarantee Scheme (MGNRES).

The works to be undertaken under this

69 Eco-Retreat

This is a programme to attract tourists.

The five locations, namely Konark,

Bhitarkanika, Daringibadi, Hirakud and

Satkosia, under the scheme, are open to

visitors till February 28, 2021.

This year, a total 145 cottages of different

categories have been put up in the five

locations. The additional features in the

current year are sea surfing session,

parasailing, e-scooter, open air restaurant,

beach shack and others.

tribes all over the world.

The intention of the scheme is to put these

tribal villages on tourism map. This will

sheep and goats will be distributed to

₹1,869 crore.

Backward Classes, the Scheduled Castes

(SCs), and the Scheduled Tribes (STs) in

It is launched in association with NABARD.

It is a low-cost polyhouses project that came

handy as it ensured livelihood opportunities

for jobless youth and SHG members in Goa.

Settlement Scheme Goa

This scheme allows payment of pending

electricity bill at one time or by instalments

with a minimum time period.

74 ‘Varasat’ campaign Uttar Pradesh

The campaign aims to curb property & land-

related disputes in rural areas.

The new initiative is expected to settle case

pending for years in the around one lakh

revenue villages of the state.

75 PAReSHRAM portal Odisha

The portal and online services will be helpful

in ease of doing business and contribute

significantly to industrial development of the

State.

Industries, commercial organisations, small

through this portal.

Launched on 15th December

Under the provisions of this scheme Rs

1,252 crore credited directly into the bank

accounts of 9.48 lakh farmers, who have

lost their crops during Kharif 2019.

There is no premium burden on the farmers.

82 ‘One District One

Product’ scheme Uttar Pradesh

The scheme would support the indigenous

industries of handicrafts, processed foods,

garments and other traditional [products

manufactured by local, micro, small and

medium enterprises, MSME.

It aims to make product-specific traditional

industrial hubs in as many as 75 districts of

Uttar Pradesh.

83 Telangana Fiber

Grid Project Telangana

It is declared as a ‘Vital Public Purpose

Project’.

The project seeks to provide high-speed

broadband service to each and every

household in the State.

The project will use the 18,000-km long

trenches dug for the Mission Bagiradha

(which provides water to every household).

Besides, it will lay fresh trenches to cover a

length of 20,000 km, taking the total length

of the network to 38,000 km.
