Don’t forget to vote on April 7th!On January 20 this year, the Parkview School Board unanimously approved placing one operational referendum question on the upcoming April 7, 2020 ballot.
If approved, current school tax will remain the same.Their decision to approve the referendum question was based on projected budget deficits of:
• $921,000 in 2020-2021,
• $1,011,000 in 2021-2022, and
• $1,463,000 in 2022-2023.

WHY IS PARKVIEW ASKING FOR A REFERENDUM?The Referendum will help the Parkview School District by:• Building upon the academic success of our students• Maintaining our investment in the community• Retaining our high-quality teachers, support staff and administrators• Continuing to grow the number of students choosing
to enroll into our district• Making our community desirable to relocating families

OPERATIONAL REFERENDUM IMPACTAll things staying the same, the operational referendum will not increase the average tax rate. If the Referendum passes, the amount of school district tax on your tax bill will stay the same. The effect on your taxes would be as follows:
