Implication of multiculturism (social class)
1. Teachers should treat all the students equally.Treat each
student equally, give them a chance to take responsibility for
their own learning, express themselves, and learn at their own

What the schools should do?Have more access on the learning
materials. Increase the number of books in library.(Include
readings from a wide variety of class perspective) What the teacher

2. Give equal learning opportunities (avoid discrimination)The
high & mid achiever students are normally come from mid &
high-SES.Teacher give more focus to them rather than to the
students in the back class.

Social awareness: understanding the needs and feelings of
others. (Munro, OBrien, & Payton 2006)

By about age three, early friendships begin to form and
childrens peers begin to have a more lasting influence. (Parke,
1990)
Harris (1998, 2002) and Rowe (1994) maintained that peer groups
have an even stronger influence than that of parents.
peer group can influence what the child values, knows, wears,
eats and learns.
