– Background Evaluation.

• Selection, Screening & Appointment of Candidate DFO’s.• Training of Designated Firearm Officers.

Except for all the initiatives regarding the implementation of the New Act, SAPS is currently

implementing an overarching Operational Strategy to emphasize Government’s commitment to control
