IMO PALM PLANTATION: integrated biogas production from combined waste materials
Reduction of fossil fuel consumption for Imo Palm and industrial energy off-takers; Elec-trifying the surrounding villages through the project operated micro-grid; Reducing the electricity production costs which are based on fossil fuels; Introduction of bio-methane based CNG as transport fuel.
This project involves utilizing selected and pre-treated biomass waste materials to gen-erate biogas energy for the Imo Palm Oil Plantation. Excess energy will be provided to the surrounding villages through a micro-grid as well as to commercial off-takers. The project will also establish electrification to surrounding villages and a bio-methane regional transport capacity.

This biogas project represents a lighthouse project for integrated palm oil and agricultural production by introducing a closed circle and zero emission energy production technology that will reduce operational costs through energy independence.
Inlay material pre-treatment through SET biomass crusher. Multi-stage anaerobic fermentation with biogas utilisation for co-gen-eration of electricity and heat. Excess biogas refinery for vehicle utilisation in the form of bio-methane CNG.
