Festival Del Sole – Napa, California Set among lush rolling foothills and breathtaking vineyard landscapes every July, Napa Valley Festival del Sole offers a blend of world-class artistry, gourmet cuisine, fine wines, lifestyle programs and exceptional hospitality, in a unique celebration of the art of life. With more than 70 participating wineries and an extraordinary roster of artists and events each season, Napa Valley Festival del Sole provides a 10-day experience the New York Times calls a "feast for the senses." Concerts take place in spectacular venues including a castle courtyard, a historic theater, and under the stars surrounded by vineyards, complemented by the legendary hospitality of Napa's finest wineries and estates.

Performers have included Renee Fleming, Joshua Bell, the Emerson String Quartet, Chris Botti, David Foster and the Bolshoi Ballet, Chefs Thomas Keller, Michael Chiarello and Cat Cora, with sponsors Bank of America, Bentley, Chopard, Tiffany & Co, among many others.

Grand Opening (1-3 Nov 2012) The Star Performing Arts Centre was officially opened on Thursday 1 November 2012. Featuring award-winning design and stunning architecture, The Star Performing Arts Centre already stands as an iconic landmark in One North precinct, Singapore. The venue offers five attractive venues in one convenient location, which includes Singapore’s only 5,000 seat theatre, the Star Theatre. To celebrate the Grand Opening of this landmark building, The Star hosted a number of activities over three days to showcase the venue and to welcome industry contacts and the local community to experience Singapore’s latest state-of-the art performance centre. The Star commissioned IMG Artists to manage and run this auspicious occasion. Over 10,700 people enjoyed 38 performances/events across 12 spaces over three days, which featured 245 international and local artists and speakers. Highlights included two inaugural Concerts featuring HITMAN: David Foster and Friends, a Gala Dinner and a free Family Day.

Lincoln Theater (Yountville, California): Lincoln Theater is located in Napa California on the largest and oldest veteran’s home in the country. Lincoln was renovated in 2005 with $22 million procured through donations from individual supporters and patrons. IMG Artists manages Lincoln Theater and has built an education and community affiliate program in Napa that creates world class opportunities for youth and arts organizations in the area. IMG Artists’ focus on community, education programs & non-profit fundamentals is transforming how the Napa community thinks about and utilizes this venue.

The Star Performing Arts Center (Singapore): In 2007 IMG Artists was awarded a management consultancy for the development of Rock Productions’ 5,000-seat music and entertainment venue at the entertainment and lifestyle hub in One North. The complex, which consists of a 5,000 seat theatre, a multi-purpose gallery and function hall, an outdoor amphitheater, rooftop reception area, function rooms and supporting spaces of various sizes, opened in November 2012 at a total development cost of $535 million USD. IMG Artists also successfully programmed and implemented an opening Festival for the world-class venue in November 2012.

La Maison Symphonique (Montreal, Quebec, Canada): IMG Artists prepared a preliminary operational blueprint for Ministry of Culture and Communications through a consultation process with key stakeholders. The planned concert hall provides a home for the Montreal Symphony Orchestra and serves as a new center for musical excellence in the city's cultural hub, relieving the pressure of high demand for the existing facilities at the Place des Arts. The new venue, La Maison Symphonique, opened its doors in Montreal in September, 2011, and boasts a capacity of 1,900 seats.

Singapore Dance Theatre 2005 The Singapore Dance Theatre is the premier professional dance company in Singapore and presents over 80 performances per year. IMG Artists was appointed to conduct an audit on its marketing and sponsorship programmes in 2005 and advise on development strategies. UBS Festival Orchestra 2004 – 2008 IMG Artists was engaged by UBS to develop the UBS Verbier Festival Orchestra so that it can take a strong and confident place for itself in the mainstream artistic world. UBS also sought to reap the fullest possible rewards in branding and communication. A business unit was set up in IMG Artists with the aim of delivering these benefits and objectives to both the Orchestra and UBS. In this time, IMG Artists has successfully toured and presented the Orchestra for UBS globally. IBM 2004 IMG Artists organised for violinist Joshua Bell to speak and perform at IBM’s Annual International Conference Honouring Patent Holders and Award Winners from IBM around the world. Joshua Bell provided a 50-minute presentation / performance focused on “Innovation”. Over the last five years, no event at IBM has received higher ratings than the Joshua Bell event. Singapore Airlines Direct Flight to New York Launch 2004 Singapore Airlines asked IMG Artists to produce a spectacular event to celebrate the launch of their direct flight to New York from Singapore. IMG Artists organised the hit West End Show “The Rat Pack”, to perform “Live from New York” for one night only with Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr. & Dean Martin characters. Held at the Grand Ballroom of the Ritz-Carlton Singapore.

Hua Hin Jazz Festival 2003 Heineken Jazz Festival Hua Hin was an international jazz festival organised by IMG Artists, showcasing both leading international and local Thai jazz artists. The music reflected the many different styles of jazz from traditional, smooth, to modern, Latin, African and Asian jazz that appealed to the jazz enthusiast or non-enthusiast. International bands who performed in the Festival included AfroAsia, a percussion based, 8-piece ensemble and Tiempo Libre, who performed the best of Latin and Cuban Jazz. Thailand’s best jazz ensembles also participated who included Tewan, Bangkok Connection, T-Bone, Bubble Jazz, IA and The Sax Man.

Philips International Jazz Festival 2000 - 2002 IMG Artists team devised the concept, planned, produced and event managed the Philips International Jazz Festival in Malaysia for Philips Malaysia. The 3-day mega-event took place at Putra Stadium in Kuala Lumpur for 3 years in a row from 2000 – 2002. The programme included a secondary school jazz bands awards competition, outdoor and indoor concerts as well as workshops and master classes. Artists included Diana Krall, Yellow Jackets, James Morrison and Incognito among many other leading international and regional jazz greats. Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS & the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra 1996 - 2001 IMG Artists was appointed as consultants for the set-up and establishment of The Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra and Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS which included artistic programming, sponsorship, education programmes, ticketing, marketing and all other areas intrinsic to the live operations of the two entities.

IMG Artists - Key Personnel

Gerard J. Inzerillo is President & Chief Executive Officer of IMG Artists. Mr. Inzerillo, widely respected for his bold and innovative vision in the areas of entertainment and tourism, was most recently President of the Kerzner Entertainment Group, where he had been since 1991. He has been instrumental in the success of breakthrough hotel properties for such high-profile companies such as Kerzner International, One&Only Resorts, Ian Schrager Hotels as well as Four Seasons and Hilton, spanning over 40 years.

Among his many accomplishments has been to produce and position the grand openings of each Kerzner property worldwide. These star-studded events attracted major international media, ultimately increasing exposure and occupancy. Some of these now legendary openings include Atlantis Paradise Island, Ocean Club Resort, Phase II opening of the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut, The One&Only Palmilla grand opening in conjunction with John Travolta’s 50th birthday party. He completed the opening of the billion dollar Phase III of Atlantis in the Bahamas in May of 2007 and has successfully opened the $1.5 billion Atlantis – Dubai on Palm Island in 2008 considered by many as the most watched resort opening in modern time making the cover of Time Magazine.

From 1991 to 1996, Mr. Inzerillo was Chief Operating Officer of Sun City, the unique South African resort complex built by Sol Kerzner. While in South Africa, he enjoyed a close personal friendship with President Nelson Mandela that continues today. In 1994, he coordinated the South African Presidential Inauguration of Nelson Mandela at the request of Noble Peace Laureate Archbishop Desmond Tutu who was the chairman of the National Inaugural Committee. In 1987 he was asked to form The Morgan Hotel Group as founding President, which later became Ian Schrager Hotels, with Ian Schrager and Steve Rubell. During his tenure with Schrager, Mr. Inzerillo opened and/or positioned such avant-garde properties as Morgan’s, Royalton, and Paramount in NYC, as well as Delano in Miami and the Mondrian in Los Angeles.

Michael Madden is the Managing Director of IMG Artists’ Venue Management Division, tasked with utilizing his entrepreneurial expertise to further expand IMG Artists’ reach into the global venue management and venue consulting market. Prior to working for IMG Artists, Mr. Madden developed a series of publishing businesses including Insight Editions, which became one of the leading “pop culture” book publishing brands in North America. He has been an integral part of major publishing campaigns for The Jerry Garcia Estate, Bruce Springsteen, The Rolling Stones, Suze Orman and Quincy Jones, to name a few. Mr. Madden has also published books for clients and authors including George Lucas, Fox, Sony Pictures, DreamWorks and Random House. Before publishing, Mr. Madden spent five years in Hong Kong expanding his family’s product development and manufacturing businesses. As a musician, he wrote more than 50 original compositions and worked in recording studios with the likes of Brian Adams and Rod Stewart by the age of twenty-one. Mr. Madden has also owned and operated a variety of successful businesses in various industries.

Mindy Coppin is a senior member of the global IMG Artists team, having been involved in arts projects in Asia, North America and Europe. Ms. Coppin has been a senior consultant on major venue projects that include; Jahrhunderthalle in Frankfurt, Canadian Opera House Toronto, Bolshoi Theatre Moscow, Capitol Theatre Singapore, Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra and Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS, Esplanade -Theatres on the Bay in Singapore, Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia, National Centre of Performing Arts Mumbai and the West Kowloon Cultural District among others. Her most recent major venue project includes the 5,000-seat state of the art concert venue The Star Performing Arts Centre which opened in Singapore in November 2012. Ms. Coppin is also an experienced musicals, concerts and events producer and is instrumental in producing major concerts and events for IMG Artists. This has included projects such as Cats, Fame, Saturday Night Fever, Jesrsey Boys, Blue Man Group, Riverdance, José Carreras, Diana Krall, Natalie Cole, Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Michael Bolton, Elvis Costello, David Foster & Friends, New York Philharmonic Orchestra among hundreds of many others artists, orchestras and shows. She is a qualified arts professional with over 20 years in the arts industry internationally. Ms. Coppin has worked for a range of leading international arts organizations, including theatre companies and touring organizations and festivals.

Geoff Street is Senior Producer and Project Consultant with IMG Artists. He is a senior arts manager with over 30 years’ experience in all facets of the performing arts, specifically in the areas of festival and venue management, programming and production. Since 2004 Mr. Street has been working as a management and programming consultant for both IMG Artists and his own business including planning consultancies and advice for a number of venues around the world. Mr. Street has most recently worked with IMG Artists on business planning for the West Kowloon Cultural District in Hong Kong and a major 5,000 seat venue at the One North development in Singapore, called the Star Performing Arts Centre which officially opened in November 2012.

Timothy Laczynski consults as a business strategist and financial planning veteran, having navigated start-up ventures, business restructurings and annual operating budgets in excess of $500 million. He is also a Broadway producer, most recently producing A Christmas Story, the Musical! based on the classic holiday motion picture of the same name. Mr. Laczynski also produced The Pee-wee Herman Show on Broadway in 2010. As former Executive Producer of the acclaimed Surflight Theatre, a not-for-profit regional theatre in New Jersey, Mr. Laczynski is credited for being key to revitalizing the 60+ year old institution, which he ushered through Chapter 11 reorganization and onto strong financial footing. Mr. Laczynski currently serves as an officer on the Board of Directors for the Napa Valley Performing Arts Center at Lincoln Theater. Prior to his entry into the business of the performing arts, Mr. Laczynski spent over a decade in Miami and Hawaii working as a cruise industry executive.
