In this time, students will be involved in a training course and embedded in an active research program. During this program, participants will learn research, presentation, and writing skills, obtain a background in health technology and care research, and conduct their own research project under the supervision of computer science and nursing faculty. If desired, the student participants will have the opportunity to utilize the summer program to gain course credit. Stipend Each participant will receive a $5,000 stipend and an allowance of $1,500 to cover housing and other subsistence costs. Students from a University other than UTA will also receive a travel supplement of $600 to compensate for added travel expenses.
