Objectives To compare and contrast the methods of Martin
Luther King and Malcolm X towards freedom and equality for Black Americans.
Outcomes1. Write six adjectives to describe the scene in the
Martin Luther King photograph.2. Write one or two sentences to explain what is
happening in the picture, using as many of the adjectives from the previous task as possible.
3. Repeat the exercise for Malcolm X.4. Decide which man would have said which quote,
and then shade them in two different colours (remember to include a key!!)
5. Using ‘Add Text’ write four differences between MLK and Malcolm X, and three similarities between them.
6. Answer the Key Question.

TASK: On the following slide, shade the quotes you think were said by Martin Luther King in one colour, and the quotes from Malcolm X in another colour.
