REEL LOVEWho said romance was dead? Here areseven of the best Hollywood relationshipsever forged on-screen.

It has been said that life imitates art and never is this more true than on thesilver screen. Hollywood doesn't get any more romantic or voyeuristic than those moviesthat sparked passionate, off-camera love affairs. From epic war films to comicbook heroes, this crop of films saw sparks flying more furiously off-screen than on.

And while most celebrity rendezvous last about as long as the film premireafter-party, these Hollywood couples have proven to have staying power bothpersonally and professionally in the fickle world of showbusiness.

So whether youre cosying up on the sofa or cracking open a bottle of vinofor one this Valentines Day, be inspired by these reel love stories.

To Have and Have Not (1944)Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall "We'll have a lot of fun together." So Humphrey Bogart told his19-year-old co-star before shooting this masterful war drama. The star had never dated a leading lady and the young actresshad never been in a film before, but their relationship becameone of Hollywood's most famous love affairs. Despite a 25-yearage gap and Bogart already being married, the couple wed in1945 and stayed together until his death in 1957.

    Words: Hannah Pearson

Swing Shift (1984) Kurt Russelland Goldie HawnKurt Russell and Goldie Hawn met while filming TheOne and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band in1968, but only began a relationship after they co-starred in Swing Shift. The couple have beentogether since 1983 although they havent tied theknot and have raised four children together.

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (1990-1996) Will Smith and Jada Pinkett SmithWill Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith met in 1994 on theset of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air when Jadaauditioned to play Will's girlfriend on the show. She may have missed out on the part but thecouple married in 1997 and have two childrentogether, Jaden and Willow, who are fast becomingfamous in their own right.

Hollywood doesn't get any more romantic or

voyeuristic than those moviesthat sparked passionate,off-camera love affairs.

  • Daredevil (2003)Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner

Bennifer 2.0 met on the set of Pearl Harbor in 2001 but didn't startdating until 2004, after playing comic book hero and heroine

Daredevil and Elektra. During filming, Affleck rescued his co-starfrom a stunt gone wrong and Garner found her very own

superhero. They married a year later and now have three children.

Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005)Brad Pitt and Angelina JolieOne of the more controversial on-set meetings, Brad wasmarried to Jennifer Aniston when he met Angelina on theset of Mr. & Mrs. Smith. The fictional couple who are hiredto kill one another morphed into the ultimate real-life supercouple, Brangelina. They married last year and are raisingsix children together.

Dream House (2011)Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz

Possibly one of the most secret celebrity love stories, DanielCraig and Rachel Weisz were friends for years but started

dating in 2010 when they co-starred in Dream House. Thepsychological thriller may have received poor reviews and

low box office results but the couple went on to marry, with just four guests attending the private ceremony and

the rest of the world oblivious to their romance.

The Place Beyond The Pines (2012)Ryan Gosling and Eva MendesHollywoods golden couple started dating in 2011 when they co-starred in Americancrime drama The Place Beyond The Pines. Frequently voted as one of the mostbeautiful and successful A-list couples, Ryan and Eva welcomed a baby girl last year.

  • FoodTheres no way you can keep track ofeverything your teenager consumes whiletheyre at school, at college or out with friends. But you can lead by example and maintain ahealthy home life with filling breakfasts andhomemade evening meals. Teaching them tocook their own meals will also be hugelybeneficial if theyre going to live away foruniversity or moving in with friends and willensure unhealthy salt-laden ready meals are alast resort rather than a daily occurrence.

FitnessTeam sports are a great way for teenagers tokeep fit, have fun and socialise outside of theirusual friendship groups. But, if your son ordaughter is self conscious or worried that sportwill interfere with their school work and sociallife, there are loads of at-home options that can keep your teen fit without takingup too much time. With thousands of celebrity fitness DVDs theres even a Madein Chelsea version they can fit in some activity without having to leave the houseor sacrifice other commitments.

FoodTo maintain a healthy lifestyle as you get older, its important to choose a vitamin-rich diet. The bodys ability to absorb key nutrients decreases with age so ensurethat where possible you are consuming the correct balance. Essential vitaminssuch as B12, folic acid, calcium, vitamin D, potassium, magnesium, fibre andomega-3 fats. Many of these are found in fresh fruit and vegetables, eggs, milk, fishand meat so aim to eat as many unprocessed foods as possible. If you struggle toincorporate all the necessary nutrients into the foods you eat, consider taking asupplement or multi-vitamin to boost your daily intake.

    ADULTS

FoodThere are thousands of diets available forthose looking to lose weight and shape up.Atkins, 5:2 and Dukan have had their fairshare of the headlines in recent years anddo work for many. But, if loweringyour calorie intake to just 500two days a week or cuttingout whole food groups fillsyou with dread, there is asimpler alternative.Assess your currenteating plan and changeany fat or carb-heavymeals and snacks tohealthier options. Thenassign one day a week toyour treat day, when you caneat whatever you like. By eatingwell most of the time and knowing that forone day a week you can pig out, youll bemore motivated to stick to your plan andwill enjoy those treats even more whenyou do have them.

FitnessFor many adults, the biggest obstacle toimproving their fitness is time. With work, family life and socialising, exercise is oftenlast on the to-do list. But there is a solution.More than two million people worldwidehave downloaded the 7 Minute WorkoutApp, which contains 12 high-intensity, 30-second bodyweight exercises with a tensecond rest between each one. You canperform the workout at home and needno specialist equipment, making it theideal way to get fit in no time.

FitnessSwimming is a great pastime for any age but its particularly beneficial to olderpeople whose joints and bones arent up to running or a strenuous gym session.Water is around 800 times denser than air so even a gentle swim can burn morethan 200 calories in just half an hour. The rhythmic action is calming and it can alsoimprove psychological well being, balance blood pressure and normalise pulse rate.Sheffield is fortunate to boast a variety of swimming pools across the city, includingSIVs Heeley Pool, Springs Leisure Centre, Ponds Forge and Westfield SportsCentre, which offer a range of sessions for fun, fitness, socialising and relaxation. Tofind your nearest pool, call 0330 333 0555 or visit www.swimsheffield.co.uk.

I have had three personal training sessions per week since joining inMarch and can certainly say that I am fitter, stronger, toned and havemore self confidence. I can honestly say that I would not have achievedthese things if it was not for Sam helping me.

Sam OwenMatt, you are an inspiration. You are dedicated, you work hard andyou never fail to make a session. I have given you the tools but you arethe one that puts in the hard work. Well done! It is an absolute pleasureworking with you.

  • PROMOTIONTHE SITWELL ARMS

Soothe your mindand relax yourbody with a yogaclass or beautytreatment at TheSitwell Arms, writesFiona Barber.

Many of lifes demands can cause a build up of stress particularly work, relationships and money problems. And when we feel stressed, it can affect how we feel, think and behave. To ensure we remain physically and mentallywell, combating this tension is essential.

Its no secret that exercise has a positive effect on our brainand body, and in recent years the leisure industry has come upwith all kinds of crazes to help us get fit, relax and unwind. Butsometimes the oldest methods are the most effective.

Yoga, an ancient form of exercise known for boostingphysical and mental wellbeing has become the activity ofchoice for many.

Despite being a yoga novice, when the opportunity arose totry out a class in the picturesque

surroundings of The Sitwell Arms Hotel,I had to give it a go.

I arrived at the class wearing myLycra leggings (which it turns out,are not a requirement) andinstructor Zoe Whiteley explainedwe would be doing a flowing

sequence a form of yoga in whichpostures are linked together using

breathing techniques. We began by relaxing and focusing on

our breathing. I relaxed quickly and retained thissense of calm as we made our way through the various posesof happy baby, the plank position, the bridge, down dog andmountain.

Although I was the only beginner in the class, Zoe cateredfor all abilities by offering simple, standard and advancedoptions.

While the physical movements in yoga play a huge part, Zoesays its also very spiritual. Yoga saved me and thats why Imso passionate about it, Ive even written a book on my spiritualjourney. Its a very personal experience; each person whocomes to my class can take what they want from it.

Theres a great variety of classes to choose from at TheSitwell Arms Hotel, and if you do want to try something a little

unconventional, then new this year is piloxing a dynamiccombination of boxing and Pilates taught by managingdirector Jo-Anne Oldfield.

Once my yoga experience was complete I was whiskedupstairs to discover another kind of tranquillity courtesy of theMind and Body facilities. Here, I was treated to a Dermalogicaskin-specific facial by beautician Rebekah Clayton.

Before the treatment began I was asked to fill out aquestionnaire about my skin type, which was used to tailor theproducts for me.

Rebekah then cleansed my face and neck and applieddermal clay cleanser, a deep-cleansing clay that purifies andrefines, before working microfoliant into a froth and leaving itto get to work for a couple of minutes.

Then followed the pressure-point massage, which helps torelax and relieve tension-related headaches, and a sebum-clearing masque a cooling masque that made my skin feelminty-fresh.

The hour-long treatment concluded with an oil-controllingmoisturiser and some night bright eye cream, to combat darkcircles.

Leaving the candle-lit room I couldnt help but be amazedby my new silky smooth face. Ive had facials before but theyusually leave my skin feeling oily the skin specific treatmentreally is revolutionary and rounded off my Sitwell experiencebeautifully.

    IMAGEASK THE EXPERT

AnnetteKerrigan, branchmanager atHaybrook Crystal Peaks, offersher expert advice.

How do I maximise my chances of selling?

There are a number of steps you can take as a seller to ensurepotential buyers see your property in the best possible light.

Kerb appealMake sure the front of your home looks the best it can. Tidy thefront garden and mow the lawn, put some pot plants near thefront door and ensure the windows and doors are clean. Thisensures that anyone driving past the house gets the bestimpression.

De-personaliseIf you have very strong dcor tastes that may not appeal toeveryone, redecorate with a neutral colour scheme. The relativelysmall cost of painting the walls and fitting a reasonably-pricedcarpet will more than pay for itself with a quicker sale if buyerscan imagine putting their own stamp on the place.

Create the illusion of more space and lightPut up mirrors in every room to reflect light and make the roomappear bigger. If showing buyers around the property yourself, always invite them to walk into a room first as it will look morespacious with fewer people in there.

Make it homelyNo-one is going to fall in love with a property that is cold anddark. Before viewers arrive, put the heating and all of the lights onso they are welcomed into a pleasant atmosphere. And, even ifyoure not living there, furnish every room with basic items sobuyers can imagine how the space would function as their home.

Tidy upIt may sound obvious but making sure the entire house (even thecellar and garage) are clean and tidy can make a huge differenceto a viewers crucial first impression.

Chris Wilson gets off the beaten track

    and discovers thatWashingborough

Hall makes an idealbase for exploring

    historic Lincoln.

With its magnificent cathedral, cobbled streets, riversidewalks and superior independent shopping opportunities,Lincoln ticks all the boxes as a city break destination. And while not exactly a hidden gem, the fact that it does not

attract the huge tourist numbers associated with certain othernorthern cities that have similar attributes makes it all the moreappealing and easier to get to grips with.

No need for park and ride schemes here... driving cross-countryon Lincolnshires sparsely populated roads until you catch the firstglimpse of the cathedral spire is one of the most rewarding ways tobegin a weekend break.

And when it comes to finding a bed for the night, we found agorgeous little hideaway just three miles away from, and severalclasses above, those oh-so-samey citycentre chain hotels.

Washingborough Hall is a pretty,Georgian Grade II-listed boutiquehotel in a peaceful village setting. With three acres of mature gardensand grounds, complete withdovecote, it has elegant good looksthat cant help but make a winningfirst impression.

But while the setting may begrand, the greeting is down-to-earth.Lucy and Edward Herrings family-owned and managed 12-bedroomhotel rolls out the welcome mat for all occasions and all guests including well-behaved dogs.

Understandably, given the pretty setting next door to the localparish church, Washingborough Hall is very much in demand for acivil ceremony or a wedding reception. During out short stay theirprivate dining rooms also catered seamlessly for the local cricketclubs end-of-season dinner and a funeral tea truly a venue for allseasons and all occasions.

Food is first rate, as youd expect considering the proximity ofsome prime farm land to The Washy. Lucys classical Cordon Bleutraining and the skills of dynamic young chef Dan Wallis arereflected in a menu that leans towards modern British, with the vast

majority of the meat, game and vegetables locally sourced.Dining in the two-AA rosette restaurant is a relaxed, classy affair

and we enjoyed fabulous filet steak and duck in the evening, whilethe full English breakfast, cooked to order, is the perfect way to setyou up for the day.

The hotel is beautifully decorated throughout with period paintsand original artwork depicting the local landscape. Our bedroom, complete with four-poster bed, was the last word in comfort andour bathroom included a free-standing bath.

The city is only a few minutes drive away and Lincoln Cathedral, which has attracted pilgrims and visitors for over 900 years, israther grand and awe-inspiring. Take the tour the history is a taleworth hearing. Other city centre essentials include Lincolns famous

Steep Hill (voted Britains Best Street2012), the historic Bailgate area, and thewaterfront.

However if you want to extend the ruralidyll, Washingborough village is theperfect starting point for riverside walksand cycle rides and with such a gentle, flat landscape its gentle exercise all theway.
