Convention of 1966, As I d r i f t e d through the 78 cases of Exh ib i t s I noted the two Judges, B i l l Engl i sh and Hans Zoel l , pouring over var ious cases. I saw Vince Doran explaining t o a lady the information i n one case of e r ro r s .
Suddenly, a ghost wafted towards me.. ,and I recognised my good f r i e n d , Sammy Sales , and we d r i f t e d together towards t h e huge Banquet Room, where we heard t h e names of some of the many winners being announced0,..Wi1f Erb.,.Ed Coyne ... Paul Carl., .Ricky Morse...Fred Jewett.. Sh i r l ey English.. .Walter Allen.. .Vince Doran e t c , , and I saw t h e b e a u t i f u l t r o p h i e s being awarded. It was l i k e r e l i v i n g t h e whole Convention through a warp of time.
There was John J. Pitman, smiling and t a lk ing . . . Zack Wallace wi th h i s camera, tak ing p ic tures . . .Eugene S p a r l i n t a l k i n g t o Ricky Morse..
