I would say there are many people who have achieved tha same without studying in I IT'S . India should stop pressuring kids to get into I IT and instead let them follow their dream, then see what Indians can achive :)Reply · Like · · Follow Post · November 8 at 5:10pm15

Your being too harsh Harshvardhan! Science has nothing to do with nationalism as such. Not for scientists really. Because Science is a study of life for the good of mankind. You could be based in US or any other country. As long as you collectively strive for betterment of mankind, that's all that matters. In some lines of work like mine we can open companies and be more effective but if i were in biomedical or genetic research i'll group withother like minded scientists and work with them.

There are so many of my friends including me who have deployed transferrable technologies in India because of the funds we have raised from being abroad. They don't just provide employment but also bring newsolutions to India. But as a scientist, their aim is not just India but global. Countries like US have a nice established route of taking products/systems to market and so many new engineers/scientists like to be based thereso that they can focus on real work rather than all the useless rubbish. Nationalism is all good but a smart person can change any situation to his/her advantage.Reply · Like · · November 8 at 4:31pm11

True Rahul, it' s called giving the right value/importance to skilled/intelligent people. @Pranay, USD won't go down easily and that's not how economics works. The world economies are inter-dependent, most of their forexreserves are in USD including India. So, if USD depreciates, so does India's wealth.Reply · Like · · November 8 at 4:33pm4
