During the CEU, Georgy shared a passionate summary of the e3 sustainability stand and also spoke of the third party Level Cerficaon Program. We were all thrilled to have this HSW & GBCI CMP course to add to our CEU repertoire. April CEU

In Houston, April showers brought the much anticipated Kimball CEU!

On April 19, IIDA members and guests were gathered for a fun-filled, educational event. The evening started with an hour of networking and professional mingling, followed by a very informative presentation by Georgy Olivieri, Kimball Director of Architecture & Design Strategies: BIFMA e3 Sustainability Standard and Level Certification CEU .

During the CEU, Georgy shared a passionate summary of the e3 sustainability stand and also spoke of the third party Level Certification Program. We were all thrilled to have this HSW & GBCI CMP course to add to our CEU repertoire.

Kristy Emmrich, 2011-2012 Director-Elect, has 5 years of experience in the Houston design community. An Interior Designer and Associate at Gensler, she specializes in workplace interiors, focusing on corporate headquarters and law firms. Since moving to Houston, Kristy has been actively involved in IIDA, sitting on several committees as well as previously serving as Student Conference Chair, for which she was awarded Chapter Volunteer of the Year.

In her spare time, Kristy enjoys running with her dog, Bailey, reading Chuck Klostermann books, shopping and playing scrabble.

A native Texan, born in Houston, Amy spent a brief time in College Station, TX and Savannah, GA for school. She studied Environmental Design at Texas A & M University, but decided she wanted to be an Interior Designer after graduating in 2003. Amy completed her college career at the Savannah College of Art and Design getting her Master of Fine Arts in Interior Design in 2006.

In 2006 she moved back to Houston, TX to be close to family and begin her professional career in Interior Design. Amy has over 6 years of experience as an Interior Designer at local Architecture and Design firms. She currently works at Ziegler Cooper Architects. Amy’s design work includes hospitality design, tenant build-outs and corporate interiors. She joined the IIDA Houston City Center Council in 2009 as Director-Elect moving to Director in 2010 and Past-Director for 2011-2012.

In her spare time, Amy enjoys baking, running and cheering on the Texas Aggies.
