Prayer for Priestly Vocations Father, in every generation you provide ministers of Christ and the Church. We come before you now, asking that you

priesthood. Give us priests who will lead and guide your holy people

gathered by Word and Sacrament. Bless us with priestly vocations so that

we can continue to be a truly Eucharistic Church, strengthened in our

discipleship of Jesus Christ, your Only Son. Raise up, we pray, men who are

generous in their service, willing to offer their lives and all their gifts for your

If you want to place your upcoming event to be printed on the Sunday bulletin, please bring it

in to the parish office 3 weeks prior to the event. Please call the parish office for email submission. Don’t forget to include the event

day, beginning a ending time, place, beneficiary, name of group sponsoring.

FACILITY USE & RESERVATIONS at IHMC

Parish organizations or anyone planning to use any of the Parish

facilities must fill out the facility request form in the parish office and get it

approved before making further plans. Turning in an application does not necessarily mean you can begin

using the room. A representative from the main office will call to confirm your

approval. Any schedule or room changes must also be approved.

Immaculate Heart of Mary Church Parish Fiesta Celebration will be held on

Sunday, May 23, 2010. The theme for this year’s fiesta is “Celebrating Our Diversity”.

To highlight the event we will have a Cultural Parade

that involves lots of participants including you. If interested,

please sign-up at our parish office or contact our Youth Minister, Melissa

students will be Saturday, May 8, 2010 beginning at 10:30am.

The Sacrament of

Confirmation will be on

Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 3:00pm with Bishop Clark.

All are invited to attend.

Confirmation Rehearsal will be Thursday, May 13th at 7pm

inside the church.

L.A. City Attorney’s Office, parents constitute 84 percent of the child

abuse perpetrators, while caregivers, relatives, foster parents, and

babysitters constitute the rest. Sixty percent of perpetrators are female, whose median age is 31

years. Forty percent are male, whose median age is 34 years.
