By February 14, nearly 1,000 current and former SEIU workers will receive payments from Tulare County as a result of our PERB victory. By standing together, we won more than $4 million in back wages and interest. After years of standing together, the courts sided with SEIU members and rejected an appeal from management. The case stems all the way back to 2011 when the County violated our contract and imposed a freeze on promotions and pay increases.
