Look at the key words again in the transcript:

Which speaker provides the exact answer?
Which synonyms did you hear for ‘reasonable’ and ‘large’?
So, which is the correct answer?

same as for the impressionist exhibition C They are reasonable for
a large exhibition
Exam tip – The words used in the options are unlikely to be the
same words in the answer. You will most likely here a synonym of
the word in the correct option.

Labelling a Map / Diagram In this exam question you need to label
parts of a map by choosing places from the list below. A. Café
Restaurant B. Swimming pool C. Reception D. Family rooms E. Bar F.
Sports centre G. Gym
Exam Tip – study the map carefully before you listen and make sure
you know how many things you need to listen for.

It’s important when labelling a map that you have a good knowledge
of words used to describe location of places and words for giving
instructions.
Look at the words in the box and check the ones you hear in the

C) Choosing from a list Exam Tip – Make sure you know how many
items from the list you need to listen for. In the following exam
question there are 5 countries that you need to select from a list
of 8, so there are 3 countries you will not need. We call these
‘distractors’. However, you will probably hear ALL the countries
mentioned in the recording!
