Yes. Better quality work
This candidate far exceeds the requirements for Fellow grade. The innovative new concepts in equipment and testing methods have caused major changes in our industry greatly improving the reliability of high voltage equipment and reducing the cost of testing. He has had a positive influence and was a significant contributor to all high voltage standards developed by the committee for the past 20 years. He has organized and taught the tutorial for the committee chaired panel sessions, etc.

Mr. X is active in interesting young people in engineering. He is a tutor for math and science students students at his local high school and is a volunteer for the high school science fair judging. In 1996-1998 he was a member of his local school board. Beyond his very significant technical contributions to our industry, he has extended his impact beyond our industry to his community.

standards. Joe Smith was the chairman of the
working group which developed C37xxx, and a major contributor to the development of C37 XYY and XZZ. The innovative new concepts he developed in these standards have revolutionized circuit breaker testing.
