    ShoppingAbstract:

    GSM communication is achieved through GSM Modem which acts as

    interface for sending and receiving SMS. The natural language SMS is processed

    and keywords are found for searching. Keywords are searched in database and

    SMS is sent to customer using Merchant Neutral Logics. The reply is sent to

    customer with details about shop automatically. sing mobile the customer can

    find the shops along with the address which sells products of their interest. !n our

    "ro#ect we help $ustomers to make their in%store shopping more efficient. &e store

    entire list of merchants and their items in a central server. $ustomers can send

    SMS in natural language to the "la'a and get reply to know details about product

    of their interest. (rom $ustomer point of view) we make their in%store shopping

    more easily. !t helps customers in retrieving information about products available

    in "la'a using customer*s mobile. &e also help customers by providing online

    billing facility which makes shopping time%efficient. (rom Merchant point of view)

    we give fair choice for all the merchants in replying customers about the products

    availability.+dmin register every shop in pla'a by getting all details of shop and

    provide each merchant with his,her username and password. +dmin also inserts all

    the items available in the pla'a along with its brand and category. +dmin creates

    -eports and send those to corresponding merchants. very merchant logs in and

    updates products sold in his shop. Merchant can view all the products available in

    the pla'a and he can choose the list of products sold in his shop from it. Merchant

    can also receive reports generated by admin which will have details about the

    customers to whom they were referred to by SMS. &e propose an automated way

    of !nformation -etrieval by processing Natural Language SMS. sing GSM

    Modem and corresponding +T commands we have developed Software which

    receives and sends SMS automatically.

    Existing System:

    !n e/isting in%store shopping facility) customer must go and search in

    various shops to know where their product of interest is available.

    To know about various shop details customer must use system present

    inside "la'a which tends to display inde/ of shops alone. 0ut it does

    not provide details about the products sold in every shop.

    +nd to use that system customer has to move to that particular

    location. There is no facility available to know details about every

    shop from any place inside pla'a.

    The e/isting information retrieval system uses human work to retrieve

    corresponding information. There is no automated way of replying

    customers through handheld devices.

    customer has to wait in 1ueue. +nd to pay bill customer must either

    bring cash with him,her or must bring credit card.

    Proposed System:

    !nstead of searching re1uired product in all shops customer

    can send a SMS stating his,her re1uirement to "la'a*s mobile

    number which responds immediately with particular product.

    The SMS can be sent from anywhere to know the details. &e

    have proposed facilities to help customers during in%store

    shopping.

    2ur pro#ect uses automated way of information retrieval which

    sends and receives SMS automatically.

    This communication is done using +T commands of GSMModem. &e also provide the facility of billing the product on

    own using G"-S enabled mobile.
