A Scalable Multicast Source RoutingArchitecture for Data Center Networks

Abstract:-Energy is a principal concern to wireless sensor networks (WSNs) that must

operate for an extended period of time on limited power supplies such as batteries.

Recent research shows that significant energy sa ing can be achie ed in mobility!

enabled wireless sensor networks (WSNs) that isit sensor nodes and collect data

from them ia short!range communications. " ma#or performance bottleneck of

such WSNs is the significantly increased latency in data collection due to the low

mo ement speed of mobile base stations. We propose se eral locali$ed sensor area

co erage protocols for heterogeneous sensors% each with arbitrary sensing and

transmission radii. Each sensor has a time out period and listens to messages sent by respecti e nodes before the time out expires. We propose a rende$ ous!based

data collection approach in which a subset of nodes ser es as rende$ ous points

that buffer and aggregate data originated from sources and transfer to the base

station when it arri es. &his approach combines the ad antages of controlled

mobility and in!network data caching and can achie e a desirable balance between

network energy sa ing and data collection delay. &his paper makes the following

contributions' ) we formulate the rende$ ous design problem for mobility enabled

WSNs% which aims to find a set of R s that can be isited by the *S within are+uired delay while the network cost incurred in transmitting data from sources to

R s is minimi$ed. &he proposed scheme entirely eliminates multicast forwarding

states in the intermediate switches, routers by explicitly encoding the ciphered list

of the forwarding set in the packets instead of using a multicast group address.

    Existing System:-

-n existing method% sensors are not in a proper contact with its

neighbor pair. -f the time!out period is o er for a sensor% it will go to

    sleep without any warnings.

&his leads to collision and data loss. ere% resources are not using in

proper. /or dense networks% fails to co er the area reasonably with aconnected set of acti e nodes.

Nodes may not know which sensor currently communicates with it.

&he existing unicast routing information% the intermediate router can

be stateless for forwarding% instead of relying on multicast routing

    information.

&he ma#or problems of datacenter multicasting%especially those of

    efficiency and scalability.

&he difference is that the o erhead of 0 cast is only affected by the

    group si$e

&he 0cast protocols are affected by the group si$e% and so the massi e

processing cost leads to group si$e

    "ro#ose System:-

-n proposed system% ha e proper communication with sensors. "ll the

sensors will keep the list of de ices which communicates at a time.

Each sensor communicates with all the sensors on the network and, or

    with neighbor sensors.

Sensors with low time!period watch all the neighbors and if they are

a ailable% sensor turns to sleep% and all the de ices will assigned to

    particular neighbor sensor.

&his method is robust in terms of high area co erage with a

reasonable amount of acti e sensors and connecti ity preser ation

    despite message losses.

    A !antages:-

We ha e propose a no el multicast routing architecture to deal witharious existing issues.

&he result is calculated using a simple modulo operation on the 12-3

with its own node specific keys.
