ABOUT THE INSTITUTION

Kumaraguru College of Technology was established in1984 by the Ramanandha Adigalar Foundation andArutselver Dr. N. Mahalingam of sakthi group. Theinstitution has emerged as one of the premierautonomous institution in south India. It is afliatedto Anna University of Technology, Chennai. Theinstitution has 15 academic departments and 6research centers, offering 12 UG courses, 13 PGcourses and doctoral programmes in variousdisciplines of engineering & technology. The collegeis ISO 9001-2000 certied and accredited by NBA &NAAC. The institution imparts value-based andholistic education so the student graduates as asocially responsible and industry-ready individual.

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering,was started in the year 1984 since the inception of theinstitution and offers a full time 4 year B.E degreeprogramme and two full time 2 year post graduateprogrammes (M.E Power Electronics & Drives & M.EEmbedded System). M.E (PED) is accredited by NBA andis the only department in all self-nancing engineeringcolleges in Tamilnadu. The department has conductedmany international and national level conferences, shortterm training programmes and faculty developmentprogrammes.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

This National Conference on “Innovations in Electrical,Electronics and Control Systems” is one of the annualnational events organized by Kumaraguru College ofTechnology to provide an opportunity for researchers,academicians and practicing engineers to meet andexchange ideas and explore new avenues of researchand development.
