IDEAS FOR LOCATION: My partner and I wish to film our horror trailer within The Douay Martyrs School building on both the Cardinal Hume Campus as well as The Arrowsmith Campus for the ‘lift’ scenes and the scene where the janitors keys get stolen. We have decided to use our school campus, especially the ‘H’ block where the sixth form is based as part of the buildings looks quite spooky and dark, especially the entrance of the school office. The main scenes for the trailer will be inside the school lift on either the ‘T’ floor or the ‘F’ floor. We may choose the ‘F’ floor as it is always very quiet and the corrider where the lift is appears quite abandonnned as well which would be perfect for shooting our trailer. We will film the majority of our footage after school when it goes dark to emphasise the scariness and spookiness of the film and to make it more realistic and effective as well. We have also chosen to use our school as oppose to a real existing college because there are many floors in the building from ‘G’ floor to the ‘T’ floor and there are a number of lift doors as well which are quite standard and small.

IDEAS FOR LOCATION:

My partner and I wish to film our horror trailer within The Douay Martyrs School building on

both the Cardinal Hume Campus as well as The Arrowsmith Campus for the ‘lift’ scenes and

the scene where the janitors keys get stolen. We have decided to use our school campus,

especially the ‘H’ block where the sixth form is based as part of the buildings looks quite

spooky and dark, especially the entrance of the school office. The main scenes for the trailer

will be inside the school lift on either the ‘T’ floor or the ‘F’ floor. We may choose the ‘F’

floor as it is always very quiet and the corrider where the lift is appears quite abandonnned as

well which would be perfect for shooting our trailer.

We will film the majority of our footage after school when it goes dark to emphasise the

scariness and spookiness of the film and to make it more realistic and effective as well. We

have also chosen to use our school as oppose to a real existing college because there are

many floors in the building from ‘G’ floor to the ‘T’ floor and there are a number of lift doors

as well which are quite standard and small.
