MAY 30: Todd Carey

JUNE 6: the clumsy lovers

JUNE 13: chris nathan

JUNE 20: strangeheart

JUNE 27: jd eicher

This Chicago born, guitar-slinging songwriter hit the top forty iTunes charts with his EP release “After the Morning After.” “Todd Carey not only attracts your attention he holds it...Carey’s music is filled with class, style and the occasional electric guitar that strokes the listeners’ curiosity level making it an easy decision to want to hear more.”

Chris Nathan is the Nashville based Buffalo, NY born, full package of incredible vocal range, superior songwriting and the ability to reach any audience. Grabbing tasteful influences from artists like Dave Matthews Band, John Legend, Sam Cooke, Richie Havens and Jason Mraz, Chris really spells, diversity.

The Clumsy Lovers have brought their mix of fiddle and banjo fueled, bluegrassified Celtic rock to North American audiences for over a decade. With more than 2,500 performances under their belts, their high-energy shows have worn out dance floors and created a loyal following in 49 states and across their homeland of Canada.

Fused with layers of synths and live guitars, Strangeheart embodies the sound of electronic pop with a very human element. Alongside the romanticized vocals, you will find yourself stuck in a groove with their tracks on repeat. There is a lot in the works for this up and coming duo.

Amidst today’s throng of singer-songwriters, something makes J.D. Eicher of Youngstown, Ohio, stand out. His polished musicianship, his lighthearted and engaging stage presence, that striking honesty in his voice – all these things play a role. In 2009, Eicher released and began touring in support of his critically acclaimed, full-length album, The Shape of Things.

AUGUST 1: scratch track

Imagine a lovely mix of style influenced by such bands as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dave Matthews Band, Pink Floyd, Santana, Rush, and Miles Davis. It’s what they call Eclectic Rock, the best of everything joined together to portray a complete, but raw piece of music art. The experience blends sounds of bass, drums, keys, guitar, sax and vocals…plus a few extras.

Combining smooth grooves with powerful lyrics and infectious hooks, 23 year old singer/songwriter Steve Means soulful brew of pop music has earned him a rapidly growing national fanbase. Averaging 100+ college shows a year and racking up over one million plays/views on his MySpace page, Means is the definition of a self-sustaining modern artist.

Andrea Davidson is blessed with a powerful roomy voice that retains emotion, unique timbre and uncanny dynamic control. Her music is suffused with a multitude of influences ranging from the melodic vibrations of The Beatles to the lyrical resonance of Bob Dylan, the soulful sounds of Bill Withers and Marvin Gaye, to the acoustic feel of Ray LaMontagne.

Touring most of the year, Scratch Track has built a resume that puts them in a category of their own, plus this keeps them at the top of their game. Scratch Track uniquely mixes socially-conscious rapid-fire lyrics, the urban culture of street poetry, languid harmonies, driving guitars, and explosive percussive vocals, all contributing to their rich musical gumbo.
