Fifty Year Club Scholarship gets boost For several years members of grad- uating classes that have celebrated their fifty-year anniversary have joined forces and contributed to a special scholarship fund. Hundreds of donors have contributed to this worthy project, which now totals over $18,000. One of these mem- bers, Dorcas Petty Dice '31, boosted the total with a generous $3,000 gift during the 1983 Christ- mas season. This is the largest single contribution to this scholar- ship fund since its beginning in 1977. Mrs. Dice, a member of the varsity debating team during her campus years, hoped her gift would be an incentive to other members for their continued sup- port of this scholarship. The club's goal of $20,000 is now within reach for their annual meeting held dur- ing the Alumni Weekend. The University salutes these valuable alumni, members of the Fifty Year Club. 0
