ICTC Acknowledges Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Celebration of Faith, Hope and Fight

Indianola Career and Technical Center hosted the Celebration of Faith, Hope and Fight for individuals who have been affected by cancer. The Celebration included a ceremony, brunch and mini shopping spree.

RED RIBBON WEEK

On October 24-28, staff and students celebrated Red Ribbon Week. The 2016 National Red Ribbon Week Theme was “YOLO. Be Drug Free”. Teacher Academy students took the campus by storm and placed red ribbons on the cars of faculty, staff and fellow classmates.

Health Science students decorated their classroom door to fit the 2016 Red Ribbon Theme.

NATIONAL BOSS’S DAY

The faculty and staff of ICTC certainly snuck one in on their boss, Ms. Rosalind Johnson. In honor of National Boss’s Day, they showered her with gifts of appreciation.

100 PERCENT PARTICIPATION ICTC and Gentry High School hosted their First Nine Weeks Open House Thursday, October 13, 2016. Students were asked to bring their parents to meet teachers, tour the building and pick up report cards. Teacher Academy First Block students and parents had 100 percent participation!!! Way to go 1st Block!!!

SPEAKING FROM EXPERIENCE

Second year Teacher Academy students, CreShaundra Williams and Selena Davila, partnered with ICT teachers at Robert L. Merritt Junior High School to discuss the Education Career Pathway. Level II students shared their philosophies of education, Teacher Academy experiences and how the class prepares them for the road ahead.
