3Welcome Address

Welcome to ICCIR 2018, the International Conference on

Complications in Interventional Radiology.

Once again, we have brought together a diverse group

of interventional radiologists with varying degrees of

experience to discuss the delicate matter, and difficult

reality, of procedural complications.

Although these conversations may be challenging, this

conference is a truly unique event, which offers the oppor-

tunity for professionals to openly and thoroughly discuss

cases in a discreet environment. Distinguished faculty

presenters will explore carefully selected case reports on

a wide range of possible complications, encouraging

participants to join them in a collective discussion on how

these can be avoided or best managed.

Our aim is to promote direct and open exchanges, and, in

this regard, collaboration is crucial. By confronting cases that

did not go as planned, we are all actively seeking to refine

the practice of interventional radiology and deliver the best

outcomes for patients.

This conference has been highly commended by doctors

from all levels of expertise, particularly by younger doctors

who appreciate learning practical lessons from these

real-life situations.

We aim for this positive feedback to continue and look

forward to another year of honest and engaging discussions!

Andanza International, a German based family company

was founded in 2005. In 2017 Andanza International is a

dynamic company, specialized on the puncture site aftercare.

It is built on “Made in Germany” quality concepts. Andanza

International offers with his in house developed Premofix

assortment a new range of unpretentious but still innovative

products. The product category of Fast–Pressure-Systems

after hemostasis is meeting internationally growing demand

for growing patient and user comfort. All of our Premofix

products are non-invasive and therefore have a very low risk

potential. The concept for the international markets is also

focusing on the puncture site aftercare. Premofix products

are unrivaled and easy to use, at low cost for customers.

Bandages, plaster stripes and thick swaps to exert pressure on

the puncture become redundant. The Premofix assortment

offers different products to increase safety either as addition

to wound closure systems or as sole solution. With our brand

new closure system Premoclose Set and Synerclose we are

now making the next step. The easy to apply product set is a

result of many years of experience in puncture site care. Also

with this new system we follow our goal to supply simple

and easy to use products. They support the convenience of

patient and users. Feel free to visit us at our booth and join

the worldwide growing number of pleased users.

You are welcome.
