Introduction to medical school at uOttawa

This day of activities is designed to encourage college and university students to complete their medical degree in French at uOttawa and demystify some of the myths about getting into med school. Students will also have the opportunity to attend a number of interactive workshops on clinical skills, visit the anatomy lab, attend an information session on admission to med school and the interview process as well as hear from current medical students about their experiences. Interested in a career in medicine? This day is just what the doctor ordered!

The secrets of networking

Presented by the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (part of the Altitude program).

The prevalence of social media means that so much of our networking is done online now. However, face-to-face contact remains critical for building a strong professional network and developing a good reputation in the professional world. But how do you go about introducing yourself?
