This is an ancient Chinese myth which is told about three thousand years ago and almost every Chinese knows this famous story.The shortest saying is only 39 Chinese characters,so it can give people more space to imagine,can’t it ?

It’s said that Chang’e had a husband called Houyi,who was a mettelsome and strong youngman that does many good things to people,and Chang’e was a king-hearted woman who had a perfect apperance,they lived a happy life until…

One day,Houyi asked Xi Wangmu,the woman leader of the sky, for a kind of panacea that is able to extend lives of people.Houyi succeeded and took the prize home.

Some robbers knew the thing and set up their mind to steal the panacea.One day when Houyi was out hunting,the robbers attempted to steal it,and Chang’e protected the panacea bravely so that it wasn’t grabbed by the people who wanted to put it to bad use.(However, some people think that Chang’e had stolen the panacea,but I think if so ,she must had some troubles that can’t be told)

•Chang’e got the panacea and ate it,she didn’t know what would happen.Suddenly,she got up from the ground,became lighter and lighter,went with a wind.Chang’e rose up and up,and she felt it was getting colder and colder.Finally,when she stepped on a land,she discovered that it was a fairyland, it was said that Chang’e got to the Moon,and she lived with a rabbit,and a flower tree and existed as a fairy.She lived a lonely life,missing her husband.

• I’d like to look up to the moon when I was a child ,and I found the moon upon the China land looked really like a fairy under a tree, I don’t know if it’s so across the ocean…..
