Discussion Questions

Messages # 1 – 3 1. Your beloved child wants to marry an unbeliever. What is the best

way to show him/her the love that is in truth?

If your decision angers relatives and they beg you to change your mind, more so when other believers will attend the wedding and as parents you will not, what would you do?

2. (a) A church member wants to leave the church because he is not

for pre-millennial doctrine and is not permitted to serve as a

Sunday School teacher; (b) a church family of your best friend

(their late twenties daughter) wants to leave the church because

the father believes the Bible has mistakes. What would your

response be in both cases? Give reasons for your answers.

3. Would you call a prosperity gospel preacher a deceiver? What

about a pastor who preaches the same gospel as your church but

believes that the Bible has mistakes? Explain your answers please.

4. Is there a price that you would not pay for your love of Jesus Christ?

Are you prepared to obey the Word of God at all costs, even if this

means angering your father, mother, brother, sister, son and

daughter?

5. Is there a difference between obeying God the Person and obeying

the Bible? If I do not obey God, does this mean that everything I do

is evil in His sight? Would it be evil in your sight as well?

Message # 4 – 6 1. You are the head of your own home and your families have

requested that your home be used for CNY gathering. Would you

welcome into your home your uncle who is the pastor of a church

that teaches the Bible has mistakes OR your aunt who is a pastor

of a Charismatic church? If you do, would you shake their hands OR

avoid them completely throughout their time in your home?

2. Are you happier when you are with brothers and sisters in Christ as

compared with your relatives at home gatherings during Christmas

or CNY where there is drinking and gambling? Please explain your

answer.

3. What would give you the greatest joy in bringing up children? What

concrete steps have you taken to make it a reality? Are you

prepared to do whatever it takes for it to become a reality?

4. As a spiritual person having younger ones who look up to you in

church, what would make you very happy with regard to how your

life has impacted them? Please elaborate

5. Do you think that it is appropriate to cite the names of good and

bad believers in the church or in Christendom? Give reasons for

your answer please.
