FALL OF JUNIOR YEAR
Start Your College Search☐ Meet with your guidance counselor to
discuss college and major options.☐ Attend college fairs to investigate
many colleges in one place.
Register for and complete your ACT/SAT Test☐ Lewis will accept either an ACT or an SAT
score as an admission requirement; Lewis ACT code: 1058; Lewis SAT code: 1404.
SUMMER FOLLOWING JUNIOR YEAR
Attend Lewis’ Summer Preview Day☐ Explore campus, talk with department
faculty and get the inside scoop on Lewis life from current students.
Start Applying for Outside Scholarships☐ You will automatically be considered for
academic scholarships at Lewis based on your ACT score and composite GPA, but explore and apply for additional private scholarships through sites such as fastweb.com and collegeboard.org.
FALL OF SENIOR YEAR
Attend a Campus Visit Day☐ Learn more about our academic programs
and on-campus opportunities, and attend admission and financial aid presentations.
Apply to Lewis☐ Apply to your preferred schools by
October to determine your college options as quickly as possible. Feb. 1 is Lewis’ application deadline for priority scholarship consideration.
Attend an Individual Visit☐ Meet your admission counselor to
talk about your academic and social interests, and to ask any questions you have about the enrollment process.
SPRING OF SENIOR YEAR
Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)☐ Submit your FAFSA before Feb. 15 via
fafsa.gov to ensure maximum financial aid consideration; Lewis FAFSA code: 001707.
Attend our Overnight Program (Admitted Students)☐ Get to know other prospective students,
attend a class, explore campus and see if Lewis feels like a good “fit”.
Schedule an Award Letter Review☐ Contact your admission counselor to
discuss your financial aid results and confirm your cost of attending Lewis.
Return your Signed Letter of Intent + Tuition Deposit + Housing Deposit☐ To secure your spot in Lewis’ fall class,
you need to sign and return your letter of intent and $100 tuition deposit made payable to ‘Lewis University’ by May 1. If you plan to live on campus, please submit the required housing application and $100 housing deposit. Forms are available at lewisu.edu/admitted.
Complete the Financial Aid Process☐ Submit Authorization Form☐ Complete Loan Entrance Counseling☐ Sign Master Promissory Note
Register for SOAR Summer Orientation☐ Attendance at SOAR is required for
new Lewis students and serves as a comprehensive introduction to college life, and chance to register for fall classes.

Submit AP test scores☐ Request your scores be sent to Lewis
to potentially earn college credit.☐ Send final high school transcript
