We recently appeared in The Sanford Herald Newspaper on October
1st, 2018. I AM My Sister's Keeper (IAMSK) is founded upon the idea
that each one reach one, teach one and in order for us to accomplish
that, especially as the winter months and holidays approach, we
need resources. IAMSK not only assists with mentoring women and
young adults, we train, tutor, and prepare our sisters for job
training, taking the GED or college courses, and job interviews. But
that's not all, we are also assisting newly released women with
community service hours.
Our sisters need resources, community buy-in from organizations
that will train and hire them, and connections that will freely give of
their time, talent, and treasures to ensure our sisters have every
opportunity possible. We need your help! Our programs are funded
by grants and donations by people in the community and abroad;
people like you. Sponsorship and contributions from people like you
make it possible for us to do the work that we do.

We have released “Unmask HER Power”. “Unmask HER
Power?” What’s that you ask? I’m glad you asked! “Unmask HER
Power” is IAMSK’s first quarterly magazine. “Unmask HER Power–
Women Empowering Women Globally”…..I LOVE the sound of that!
The title was born out of life, as we know it, as women. We have a
LOT of untapped potential, untapped dreams and visions locked up
inside of us due to childhood traumas, or relationship drama, or

move forward from past hurts, fears and sabotage, to get rid of obsolete thinking, and helping them learn how to budget Money Time, Business, Family, and Ministry. Ms Davis has been coaching and mentoring for 8 years, and certified for 2 years.
IAMSK offers a 4-Week Discovering Your Purpose Life Coaching Workshop every month for women to take part in.

IAMSK OFFICIAL SITE FOR COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS
I am pleased to say that IAMSK is now an
OFFICIAL site where women who are on
probation and need to do community service hours
can fulfill those requirements within the network of
IAMSK! They will not only be able to fulfill their
requirements, but they will have an opportunity to
partake of the resources, services, and sisterhood
we offer as well.
Additionally, our sisters will assist in making phone
calls, data entry, marketing/helping advertise our
events, filing, and doing some light cleaning, as we
strive to make IAMSK’s headquarters office a place
we can be proud of!
It is my most sincere desire that during their time
with us fulfilling their mandatory hours, they will
learn more about IAMSK and what it means to be
accountable to each other as women.

I AM My Sister’s Keeper, Inc. (IAMSK) was
established as a nonprofit 501(c)(3)
organization in July 2016, and is headquartered in
Sanford, North Carolina. Our mission is to
facilitate social, emotional, and financial
well-being among low income women by
providing them with the tools and resources
needed to escape poverty.
Through our Culture87, The 5 P's, and THRIVE
programs, we provide women and children who live
below the national poverty level with practical
solutions for daily living and occupational
advancement, thereby equipping them with the skills
necessary to seek and obtain better paying jobs. We
work diligently to partner women in our programs
with accomplished mentors who can guide and lead
them to become more effective role models and
examples for their children.
