IRA Withdrawals

Did you know that you and First Baptist Church may benefit from a charitable rollover? Making a donation to FBC directly from your IRA can: 1. Be an easy and convenient way to make a gift from one of your major assets; 2. Be excluded from your adjustable gross income: a tax- free rollover; 3. Count toward your required minimum distribu-tion (RMD).

For your gift to qualify for benefits under the extension:

1. You must be 70½ years or older at the time of the gift; 2. The transfer must go directly from your IRA to FBC; 3. Your total IRA gift(s) cannot exceed $100,000 each year. For more information on how to make a direct gift from your IRA to FBC, contact your IRA administra-

tor or your legal and financial advisors.

Weekday Education

The FBC Weekday Education program is hiring for the following positions for the 2019-2020 school year: K-4 Preschool Teacher and a

toddler teacher. Applicants should have a commitment to Christian Education and have experience teaching preschool-ers in the classroom. For more information, con-tact Angela McNeal at [email protected].

Our church kick off will be here soon and we want to roll out our wel-come mat. Please take a look in your Sunday

School classroom and determine if you have any-thing that you would like to have discarded. If so, you can mark it clearly or set up a time to meet with the custodian, and the staff will be happy to help you spruce up your space.
