HiMAP-87G acts as a digital protection relay with a high performanceDSP. It has accurate current/time and by using a harmonic analysisalgorithm the HiMAP-87G can prevent malfunctions caused by harmonics.

In addition, HiMAP-87G has a self-diagnostic function that is always ableto observe internal failures, leading to the better reliability.

When the differential current is exceeds the set value, the contact is activatedand the generator is protected.
