    Although Lithuania has extremely constrained energy resources, it couldbecome a leader in adding value to energy supply systems.

    By adopting storage technologies and dynamic demand-side

    management technologies, energy could be purchased when cheapthen consumed as re uired.Hydrogen could reduce dependence on imported oil if renewableenergy could be sourced to generate hydrogen. -

    areas that are vulnerable to supply fluctuations, or for missioncritical applications where power-supply failure could be costly / fatal.
