NTS has full �nishing capabilities with seven saws including a fully automatic, high-speed circular saw capable of cutting in seconds. To move stock swiftly and e�ciently we have three double hoists and radio controlled gantry cranes capable of lifting up to 12.6 tonnes. At NTS we operate our own �eet of vehicles with fully covered trailers and our own experienced, helpful drivers ensuring we can meet individual delivery requirements.

Corrosion Resistance ChartOur standard product o�ers corrosion resistance up to 200 hours with a rating of 9 minimum. For high grade applications we are able to o�er bars with a double layer of chrome. The corrosion resistance of this product in a neutral salt spray test is 500 hours with a rating of 9 minimum.

The impermeability of the chrome layers is checked by means of uni�ed tests in a saline cloud and the results are valued with protection factors. The tests are accelerated and therefore the life perspectives can only be based on personal experience.

Tests are continuously carried out on specimens, the results shown below are based on tests at our mill and at independent laboratories after an accelerated test in a saline cloud according to ISO 9227, with results evaluated according to ISO 10289.

STRUCTURAL PRODUCTSNTS carries a comprehensive range of both Hot Finished and Cold Formed structural hollow sections in various grades to suit all applications. Our stockholding facility with in excess of 30,000 tonnes of structural products allows us to satisfy even large project requirements on an ex-stock basis with minimal wastage due to our varied and diverse range of stock lengths.

COMPOSITE (GRP/FRP) PRODUCTSGlass reinforced composite access products have been used extensively in many industries for over 40 years. Major advantages such as superior anti-slip, weight-savings and zero maintenance bene�ts can be achieved by using composite access products over traditional metallic products. Our wide-ranging stock levels of gratings, hand rail and structural pro�les ensure we have a product o� the shelf to meet most applications.

LINEPIPE, FITTINGS AND FLANGESA wide range of both seamless and welded linepipe to the latest API & ASTM norms is held at Dalton. The size range (1/2” – 48”) and grades stocked are suitable for both high temperature and pressure and low temperature applications in both single and double random lengths. A full range of �ttings, �anges and additional services complement our pipe range.

John Bell Pipeline Equipment Company Ltd, a sister company of NTS, based in Aberdeenshire, Scotland has expanded their product range of pipes, �ttings and �anges to o�er a wide range of Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) access products. This division is called JBP Structured Composites and due to the success of this range of products we have expanded the operation by creating a new custom made fabrication facility at Inverurie.

GRP access products have been used extensively in many industries for over 40 years. Whether it be plain uncut panels of grating or custom fabrications, we have a solution for every requirement.

OFFSHORE STRUCTURAL PRODUCTSIn addition to the standard grades of structural hollow sections NTS has a specialist stock of high grade material for the o�shore construction industry. Managed by an expert and dedicated team and working with the very best steel mills across the globe, NTS now o�ers this industry access to ex-stock, high quality material and the processing capabilities needed. Additional testing and third party inspections are a regular part of our service, as is the management of third party processing you may require.

THE BIANCO GROUP

The history of the Bianco Group began in 1958 with the establishment of F. G. Bianco �rst in Milan and then in Brescia, where today, under the name of Tubindustria, we are still distributing steel tubes.

In the late 1960’s and early 1970’s SICAM in Italy, STAD in France and Cleveland Steel and Tubes in the UK were established creating the groundwork for building our current international steel distribution network. The 1980’s and 1990’s saw rapid expansion across Europe and North America creating a pattern of growth that still continues today.

The Group specialises in providing seamless and welded tubes to the construction, process and energy industries as well as providing seamless tubes and solid bars for the mechanical and �uid power markets.

The Bianco Group is a large organisation but has held true to its founding principles: depth of stock, speed of supply, e�ciency and reliability to always be the core of our market policy. These attributes together with vast resources, covered warehousing in excess of 220 000m2 and stocks of over 350 000 tonnes, allow the Bianco Group to perform to consistently meet our customers’ exceptionally high standards.

Today the Bianco Group is made up of over 20 steel stockholding, distribution, processing and trading companies and is still growing with the latest establishment being National Tube Supply Canada. Over 800 people work in the group and serve over 16 000 customers worldwide.
