• LTHMR has given the Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) system to The Thales Company .

• Thales will Design, Build, Deliver and Manage the installation of the fully automated CBTC.

• Greater traffic capacity equivalent to:• 7 lanes of Bus Traffic (or) • 24 lanes of Car Traffic

• Low Energy Consumption per Passenger Km:• 20% only in comparison to Road-based
