God of wisdom and grace, forgive us from turning away from those like Nathan who speak the truth. When the truth is difficult to hear, open our ears to hear Your voice.Forgive us, Lord.

NEXT SUNDAY, 7/26: We continue with our sermon series: “Friends for the Journey. Pastor Doug will be at the Hyde Park location, and Pastor Ian will be at Nast Community. Pastor Doug’s sermon, “Everyone Needs a Paul” is based on Galatians 6:1-6. Everyone needs a “Yoda” for a friend; someone who is a mentor, a guru, a coach, a spiritual teacher/director; someone’s shoulders to stand on.
