Einige Komponenten knnen auch eine hohe Betriebstemperatur aufweisen.Nichtbeachtung der Installations- und Sicherheitshinweise kann zu schweren Krperverletzungen oder Sachschden fhren.Deshalb darf nur geschultes und qualifiziertes Personal das System installieren und warten.

    This equipment has been tested and found to comply with EN 301489. Its class of conformity is defined in table A30808-X3247-X910-*-7618, which is shipped with each product. This class also corresponds to the limits for a Class A digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules.These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial environment.This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accor-dance with the relevant standards referenced in the manual Guide to Documentation, may cause harmful inter-ference to radio communications.For system installations it is strictly required to choose all installation sites according to national and local require-ments concerning construction rules and static load capacities of buildings and roofs.For all sites, in particular in residential areas it is mandatory to observe all respectively applicable electromagnetic field / force (EMF) limits.     1 Introduction

    1.1 Purpose of the ManualThis manual gives an overview of all frames and panels used in the various racks and shelters of all BTSE types.

    A frame is the housing for several modules connected to each other via a backplane, forming one unit. A few of them have also a panel for front side connectors or fuses. One and the same frame may be installed in several racks and shelters, whereas the position and the amount of the frames differs from case to case. All frames in a rack or shelter are interconnected via specific cabling on the backplane side.

    Panels can be subdivided into 3 categories:

    AC Panels

    DC Panels

    EMI Panels

    AC Panels are usually part of an AC/DC frame and provide AC breakers and a service socket in some cases. Other breakers and connectors may be placed at the AC Panel as well.

    The DC breakers are united at the DC Panels for the protection of the different modules or groups of modules. Connectors for the LMT or alarm cables are also present.

    EMI Panels are placed at the top of the racks or at the bottom of the shelters and function as the electromagnetically protected interface for the outside connection of a BTSE.

    1.2 Structure of the ManualIn the main chapter Frames all frames are listed in alphabetical order. The drawings show the mounting position of the modules and panels. More detailed information on each module can be found in the manual HWMN:BTSE Modules by means of its mnemonic name. The relevant panels are listed in the main chapter Panels.

    The main chapter Panels is subdivided in the three categories of the panels. The type of a panel can be recognized at the prefix of its mnemonic name:

    3.1 AC PanelsThe AC Panels are part of various frames F:AC/DCxx and provide access not only to the AC breakers, but also to specific DC breakers and in some versions to a service socket depending on the market to be used. AC and DC distribution is managed behind the panel. The AC line supply cables for the modules AC/DC are passed through gaps in the panel.

    3.4 EMI Panels

    In order to fulfill the EMC requirements, all external cabling to/from the racks/shelters is lead through the EMI Panel. For the AC and DC power supply the attendant electromag-netic noise is blocked by means of EMI-filters which are part of the corresponding Mains Supply Unit (MSU). Cable entry bars secure a good electrical connection between the screen of the coax jumper cables and the EMI gasket. Other interfaces are protected by using appropriate connectors with internal filters.
