/ Safety Precautions

In order to use the stove properly and safely, be sure to follow the precautions below.

When installing the gas cooking stove, provide 15cm or more from the walls on the sides and at the rear, and 100cm or more from the ceiling.

After the use, close the main valve of the gas cylinder.

When connecting the gas hose (rubber tube), fasten the hose securely with a hose clamp.

/ Hose clamp

Do not route the gas hose (rubber tube) over or under the gas cooking stove.

Replace the gas hose (rubber tube) immediately if you find any crack or damage on the hose.

Keep any combustible and inflammable materials away from the gas cooking stove.

Connect the gas hose (rubber tube) to the gas cylinder.

Open the main valve of the gas cylinder.In case of gas leak, close the main valve and open a window to release the gas outside.

Install the gas cooking stove in a well-ventilated room.

In case of gas leak, do not turn on the ventilating fan nor light a lighter.

While the stove is lighted, never leave the spot, go to bed, nor go out.

Do not use a pan/pot that is too small to be placed stably on the trivet.

Avoid boiling over and keep the top plate clean.

Do not move the stove while using it or immediately after the use.

Do not use the stove to dry clothes (dishcloths).

Do not splash water onto the stove or immerse the stove in water.

Never attempt to modify or disassemble the stove.

/ Installing the burner cap

If the parts are assembled in wrong order, the installation fails and this may cause incomplete combustion, fire, or malfunction.

The right and left burner caps are different in size.Install the large cap in the left burner and the small cap in the right burner.

Install the parts. (Refer to pages 3 and 4.)

If the flame goes out during the use due to wind or boiling over, the safety device shuts off the gas.

/ Igniting the stove

While fully pushing the control knob, rotate the knob to the "ON" position and hold it there for several seconds.

position and hold it there for several seconds.

Confirm that the flame remains even when you release the knob.The flame might go off if the knob is pushed weakly or the holding time is short.

Rotate the control knob back to the "OFF" position.

Confirm that the flame has gone off.

Connect the gas hose (rubber tube) completely to the gas pipe on the rear of the stove and secure the hose with a hose clamp.

/ Maintenance and Inspection Be sure to maintain and inspect the gas cooking stove regularly. Wait until the stove cools down completely before starting maintenance and inspection.(It takes some time until the stove cools down completely.) Never attempt to disassemble the stove with tools.

/ Inspection points Is there any combustible materials near the stove? Is every part installed properly? Is the stove clean? Is the gas hose (rubber tube) connected properly?Isn't the gas hose too old? Is there any smell of gas?

/ Maintenance

CH Caution Do not use paint thinners or hard brushes to clean the coated

surfaces such as the top plate or front panel. Using such items may scratch the surface.

/ Top plate, stove surface, and control knob

Wipe off smudges and smears with a cloth moistened with neutral kitchen detergent or water. Then, wipe off the detergent or moisture with a dry cloth.

/ Trivet, drip tray, and burner cap

Wash with neutral kitchen detergent and water, and then wipe off the water with a dry cloth.Wipe off the moisture completely.

Clean the holes and grooves in the burner cap with a brush.

/ Burner and thermocouple

/ Thermocouple Wipe off smudges and smears with a soft cloth. Do not remove the burner and thermocouple.
