DOVER BEACH WINS KEEP AUSTRALIA BEAUTIFUL 2015 TASMANIAN ‘CLEAN BEACHES’ AWARDDover Beach has been awarded overall winner in the 2015 Keep Australia Beautiful, Tasmania, Clean Beaches awards. Dover Beach will also be representing Tasmania in the same category in the National competition.

Keep Australia Beautiful Tasmania Executive Officer Geoff Marsh said local residents had driven the rehabilitation of parklands behind Dover Beach, while the Huon Valley Council had supported the community’s efforts with new playground equip-ment and rehabilitation of the Dover foreshore.

Thanks to Geoff Marsh and the Tassie Keep Australia Beautiful team, Lisa Plohl from Huon Valley Council, the Huon Valley Council Infrastructure workers who worked on the foreshore and all the volunteers who gave up their time to make Dover Beach a place to remember. Well done!
