The Hunt Academy for Young Actors (HAYA) provides professional drama masterclasses in all areas of acting for young people aged 8–19.

HAYA is suitable for a wide range of young people and previous experience is not necessary. In a safe and supportive environment, HAYA identifies and nurtures potential talent as well as enabling students to gain confidence and skills which benefit them in other areas of their lives.

The focus of the Academy is to train young people in all areas of acting for stage and screen culminating in a Showcase in the main auditorium at the end of the year.

The classes are run by professional actor/ director Sarah Hunt whose approach brings both fun and focus to the sessions. She is supported by a variety of industry professionals who regularly run specialist workshops.

Many of the students have gone on to pursue studies in acting, directing and technical theatre at university and drama school. A number now enjoy careers in film, television and theatre.
