HUMIDIFICATIONWhat is RESPIFLO*?The RESPIFLO system comprises of a series of universalbottles and adapters allowing the administration ofhumidified respiratory gases or the delivery ofatherapeutic nebulised aerosol. Various AERODYNE*heaters are available to allow the delivery of heatedaerosol therapy or humidification in all circumstances.

The heart of the system is the USP (United StatesPharmacopoeia) grade sterile water and the RESPIFLOadapters and universal bottles allow humidification ornebulisation to be delivered via a closed system, reducingthe risks of contamination associated with conventionalopen systems.

All water used in RESPIFLO products fully meets thestatutory U.S.P. requirements and is triple distilled anddeionised before bottling in chemically inert recyclablepolypropylene RESPIFLO containers.

Unlike other products, the RESPIFLO production processhas been shown to produce a pyrogen free sterile stableproduct, ideally suited to respiratory use.

A RESPIFLO product is available to suit any situationwhere it is necessary to condition dry respiratory gases,from short-term oxygen therapy with nasal cannulae tofully intubated and ventilated patients in Intensive Care.
