Abstract—  This paper concerns the impact on the

civilization of China of the communist movement and thecommunist party. Looking at the history of China’s last 160

years, nearly one hundred million people have died unnatural

deaths and almost all of the traditional Chinese culture and

civilization has been destroyed. Did the Communist Party gang

up and force Chinese people to accept it? The CCP has set itself

above all, conquering all in its path, thereby bringing endless

catastrophe to China. In the last hundred years, the sudden

invasion by the Party has created a force against humanity,

causing limitless agony and tragedy. The CCP has devotednation’s resources to destroying China’s rich traditional culture.

Falun Gong, which upholds the principles of “Truthfulness,

Compassion and Tolerance”, has been promulgated in over 114

countries but is being persecuted in China. The CCP’s

destruction of Chinese culture has been planned, well organized,

and systematic. The 60-year history of CCP is written with blood

and lies and the stories are not only brutally inhumane but are

rarely known. More than 60-80 million innocent Chinese people

have been killed under the rule of CCP, leaving their broken

families behind. The communist Party is essentially an evil cult

that not only violates human rights but harms mankind. What is

most terrifying is that the CCP is going all out to destroy the

moral foundation of the entire nation. It is especially important

to us to understand clearly why the CCP acts so worthless anddiscern its criminal nature.

I.  HUMAN RIGHTS

What are human rights? A dictionary might probably give

the following answer:

HUMAN: (noun) A member of the Homo sapiens species;

a man, woman or child; a person.

RIGHTS: (noun) Things to which you are entitled orallowed; freedoms that are guaranteed.

HUMAN RIGHTS: (noun plural) the rights you have

simply because you are human.

It‟s how you instinctively expect and deserve to be treated

as a person. There are many kinds of rights. Most of themapply to a certain group. But human rights are the rights that

apply to absolutely everyone, everywhere. All have the exact

same human rights. In other words, they are universal. But

what are human rights?

According to the United Nations, there are a total of thirty

human rights which are usually called together as human

rights. All are born free and equal, the right to live, the right to

religion, social security, etc just a few of all the human rights.

II.  VIOLATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS

If people have the right to food and shelter, why are more

than 16 thousand children dying of starvation every day? If

people have the right to education, why are over a billionadults unable to read? If slavery has truly been abolished, why

are more than 27 million people still enslaved today, more

than twice as many as in 1800?The fact is that the Universal Decoration of the Human

Rights did not have the force of law. Hence, although every

member-nation signed, it was just a little more than the words

on a page.

As a result, many nations have been violating the human

rights with no one to question them. There are also few areas

that are closed to the foreign journalists and this raises

suspicions of human rights violations.

III. CHINESE COMMUNIST PARTY(CCP)

Mr. Gao Zhisheng, a Rights Lawyer in China writes in his

book, „A China More Just‟ –  “It is our misfortune to live in

the China of this historical period. No one on this earth hasever had to experience or witness the suffering that has

befallen us! Yet it is also our fortune to live in the China of

this historical period. For we will experience and witness how

the greatest people on earth banished this suffering once and

for all!”

China‟s dark side is so very, very large, especially when itcomes to the system of harming the citizens

One of the theories the communists employ is social

Darwinism. The Communist Party applies Darwin‟s inter -

species competition to human relationships and human history,

maintaining that class struggle is the only driving force for

societal development. Struggle is the primary belief of the

Communist Party, a tool in gaining and maintaining politicalcontrol. The first and foremost requirement of all CCP

members and those ruled by the CCP is to obey their

commands unconditionally.

Unlike the communist regime, non-communist societies,

even those suffering under rigid totalitarian rule and

dictatorship, often allow some degree of self-organization andself-determination. . A sad fact is that everywhere throughout

the country, when you communicate with staff on official or

even unofficial occasions, you find that they fully approve of

Page 2: Human Rights in Global Scenario

what the government does. This alone suggests the

powerlessness of one individual to change things.

Mr. Gao writes “I can say, though, having been a lawyer for seven years, that even writing a million characters could

not compare even a fraction of the sorry state of our judicial

system and its cruelty toward the citizens and toward civility

itself.”  There is nothing unusual about the state abusing its

power in the country and the miseries that Chinese peoplehave suffered due to the abuse of state power are too

numerous to record. Ever since the Party took over and the

Chinese people supposedly „stood up‟ to become „their own

masters‟, the number of people the regime has killed far exceeds the number of Jews killed by the Nazi regime in

world War II.

Interestingly, the most malicious acts of power abuse did

not end with the Cultural Revolution in 1976. Quite the

opposite, with the blessing and protection of the entire society,

such abuses have become even more prevalent. In the last century, the sudden invasion by the communist

spectre has created a force against nature and humanity,

causing limitless agony and tragedy. It has also pushed

civilization to the brink of destruction. It has become an

extremely malevolent force against the universe.

Lao Zi said,

“Under heaven all can see beauty as beauty only because

there is ugliness.

All can know good as good only because there is evil.

Therefore having and not having arise together.

Difficult and easy complement each other.

Long and short contrast each other;

High and low rest upon each other;

Voice and sound harmonize each other;

Front and back follow one another.”

Simply put, the law of mutual generation and mutual

inhibition exists in the human world. Not only are the humansdivided into good and bad individuals, but good and evil also

coexist within a single person.

But the evil that the Communist Party exhibits transcends

the law of mutual generation and mutual inhibition. Since

attaining power in 1949, the CCP has devoted nation‟s

resources to destroying China‟s rich traditional culture. This

ill intention did not come from CCP‟s zeal for

industrialization, nor from simple foolishness in worshipping

western civilization. Rather, it came from the CCP‟s inherent

ideological opposition to the traditional Chinese Culture. Thus,

the CCP‟s destruction of Chinese culture has been planned,

well organized, and systematic, made possible by state‟s useof violence. The CCP‟s destruction of traditional culture has

brought disastrous consequences to China. Not only have

people lost their moral bearings, they have also been forcibly

indoctrinated with the CCP‟s evil theories.

Ideologically, the CCP believes in the “dictatorship of the

proletariat” and “continuous revolution under the dictatorship

of the proletariat.” Killing is also necessary for practical

recons. Constant terror was needed to intimidate people and

force them to accept, out of fear, the absolute rule of CCP.

Unlike all the emperors who granted amnesty to the entire

country after they were crowned, the CCP started killing the

moment it gained power.

A.  Suppression of the Reactionaries

In March 1950, the CCP announced “Orders to StrictlySuppress Reactionary Elements.” The population of China at

that time was approximately 600 million; this “royal order”

from Mao would have caused at least 600,000 deaths. Nobodyknows where this ratio of 1/1000 came from. Perhaps on a

whim, Mao decided these 600,000 lives should be enough to

lay the foundation for creating fear among the people, andthus ordered it to happen.

B.  The “Three Anti Campaign” and “Five Anti Campaign”

According to Facts of the Political Campaigns after the

Founding of the People’s Republic of China co-edited by four

government units including the CCP History Research Centre

in 1996, during the “Three Anti Campaign” (1951) and “Five

Anti Campaign” (1952), more than 323,100 people were

arrested and over 280 committed suicide or disappeared. In

the subsequent suppression of the reactionaries, over 21,300people were executed, and over 4,300 committed suicide or

executed.

C.  The Great Famine

The highest death toll was recorded during China‟s GreatFamine. The article “Great Famine” in the book Historical

Records of the People‟s Republic of China states, “The

number of unnatural deaths and reduced births from 1959 to

1961 is estimated at about 40 million...China‟s depopulation

by 40 million is likely to be the world‟s greatest famine in this

century.”

D.  The Cultural RevolutionThe Cultural Revolution was formally launched on May 16,

1966 and lasted until 1976. This period was called the “Ten

Year Catastrophe” even by the CCP itself. Statistics compiled

from county annals show that 7.73 million people died of

unnatural causes during the Cultural Revolution.

E.  The Tiananmen Square Massacre

The policy of “reform and opening up” greatly advanced

the circulation of information, which made it possible formany foreign reporters to witness the Tiananmen Square

Massacre in 1989 and to air television reports showing tankers

chase down and crush college students to death.

F.  The Persecution of Falun Gong

Ten years later, on July 20, 1999, Jiang Zemin, the former

Chinese President, began his suppression of Falun Gong. By

the end of 2002, inside information from the government

sources in Mainland China confirmed the cover-up of over

7,000 deaths in detention centres, forced labour camps, prisons and mental institutions. The persecution of Falun

Gong reaches almost every corner of the country, with deaths

confirmed in virtually every one of China's provinces,

autonomous regions and province-level municipalities. In

Page 3: Human Rights in Global Scenario

addition to the deaths, over 100,000 have been sentenced to

forced labor camps. Many thousand mentally-healthy

practitioners have been locked up in psychiatric hospitals,

brutally beaten, and drugged into submission with anti-

psychotic drugs. Huge numbers have been forced into

brainwashing sessions organized to coerce them to renounce

their beliefs. Torture is widespread and systematic, ordered by

top Party officials to help wipe out the practice. Police and

CCP officials at all levels routinely extort huge sums fromthose they threaten and arrest, and their families. Countless

families have been broken up, and countless practitioners dare

not return to their homes, wanting to avoid arrest and to

protect their families and friends from the CCP's guilt-by-association policy.

IV. THE PARTY CULTURE

While the CCP was destroying the traditional semi-divine

culture, it quietly established its own “Party Culture” through

continuous political movements. Despotism and dictatorship

are the nature of the Party Culture. This culture serves the

Party in its political and class struggles. One may understand

how it forms the Party‟s “humanistic” environment of terror and despotism from four aspects:

G.  The Aspect of Domination and Control

  A culture of isolation

  A culture of terror

  A culture of network control

  A culture of incrimination

H.  Aspects of Propaganda

  A culture of one voice

  A culture to promote violence

A culture to incite hatred  A culture of deception and lies  A culture of brainwashing

  A culture of adulation

  The culture of pretentiousness

I.  The Aspect of Interpersonal Relations

  A culture of jealousy

A culture of people stepping over each other

J.  Subtle Influences on People’s Internal Psyche and External Behaviour

A culture that transforms human beings into machines

A culture that confounds right and wrong  A culture of self-imposed brainwashing and

unconditional obedience

A culture of securing a flunkey position

The different killing patterns under different circumstances

are as follows:

  Leading with propaganda

Mobilizing the masses to kill people

Destroying one‟s spirit before killing his physical body

Killing people by alliances and alienation

Nipping potential threats in the bud and secretive extra-

judicial killings

  Killing one to warn others

Using suppression to conceal the truth of killing

The Communist Party is essentially an evil cult that harms

mankind. What the Communist Party has done proves itself to

be an evil cult. The Communist Party‟s doctrines are based

upon class struggle, violent revolution and the dictatorship of the proletariat and have resulted in the so-called “communist

revolution” full of blood and violence. The Communist

Party‟s cultish traits can be summarized in six points:

Concoction of doctrines and elimination of dissidents  Promotion of leader worship and supremacist views

Violent brainwashing, mind control, tight organization

and no quitting once admitted

Urging violence, carnage and sacrifice to the party

Denying belief in God and smothering human nature

Military seizure of power, monopolization of theeconomy and wild political and economic ambitions

V.  UNPRECEDENTED PERSECUTION

Falun Dafa is an ancient holistic system for well being of

mind and body based on the universal principles of

Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance. First introduced by

Mr. Li Hongzhi in China in May 1992, today it is practiced by

over 100 million people in more than 114 countries.

Falun Dafa is not a religion and does not have any central

organization or membership. All activities are always

voluntary and completely free.

Mr. Li Hongzhi received “The Most Welcomed Qigong

Master” and “The Most Advanced Science Award” at theBeijing Eastern Health Exposition conducted by the Chinese

Qigong Research Society. Falun Dafa and Mr. Li Hongzhi

have received more than 1,500 governmental awards from

around the world.

A survey of 12,700 people in Beijing confirmed large scalebenefits prompting the government to acknowledge savings in

health costs of over 100 billion Yuan (`67,500 crore) per year.

Fig.1. Health status after practicing Falun Dafa

At first, Falun Gong was regarded by many as a type of

qigong with an especially powerful ability to keep people

healthy and fit. Later, people gradually realized the essence of

Page 4: Human Rights in Global Scenario

Falun Gong was not in its five exercises. Instead, Falun

Gong‟s essence is to teach people to become better based

upon the principles of “Truthfulness, Compassion and

Tolerance.” This became one of the main reasons for the CCPand Jaing Zemin to defame and ban the traditional practice.

Falun Gong teaches “Truthfulness, Compassion and

Tolerance;” the communist party brews “falsehood, hatred and

struggle.” People with righteous beliefs are fearless, while the

CCP relies on people‟s fear to maintain its political power. The high moral standards of Falun Gong embarrass the CCP.

The Communist Party considers Falun Gong‟s theism a threatto legitimacy of the communist regime. The CCP was also

extremely jealous of the way Falun Gong was spread andmanaged. The 1998 survey in Beijing determined there were

70 to 100 million practitioners of Falun Gong in China.

Fearing the popularity of this ancient holistic practice not

controlled by the Chinese regime a violent campaign was

initiated to eradicate Falun Gong using any means possible

including slave labour camps, brainwashing centres andextreme torture affecting millions of its citizens.

The Communist Party said that Falun Gong “competes” for

the masses with the CCP and that it was a “religion.” In fact,

what Falun Gong brings to people is a culture and a way of

life. It is an ancestral culture and the root of Chinese traditions,

which the Chinese people had lost long ago. Jiang Zemin and

the Communist Party feared Falun Gong, because once this

traditional morality was accepted by the public, nothing could

prevent it from spreading rapidly.

According to The Washington Post  article quote-

“Communist Party sources said that the standing committeeof the Politburo did not unanimously endorse the crackdown

and that President Jiang Zemin alone decided that Falun

Gong must be eliminated.” Jiang unleashed the full force of

the police, the army and the secret police to arbitrarily detain,

arrest and beat practitioners. Some practitioners were

sentenced to prison for as long as 18 years, even though theyhad committed no crime.

During the Central Committee‟s working conference, in

which the suppression of Falun Gong was ordered, Jiang

Zemin claimed, “I just don‟t believe that the CCP can‟t beat

Falun Gong.” In planning the strategy of the suppression,

three policies were put in place: “to ruin [Falun Gongpractitioners‟] reputations, bankrupt [them] financially, and

destroy [them] physically.” A suppression campaignsubsequently went into full operation.

Exploiting the media to block the flow of information

Imposing fines and ransacking homes without due

process  Brutal arts of torture and wanton killing

The 610 office extending its tentacles beyond the

framework of the law

Using the military and national financial resources to

carry out the persecution. In order to justify the persecution to the general public, a

systematic nationwide media campaign was organized by the

government to demonize Falun Dafa, calling its practitioners

crazy. They then said that they were trying to help

practitioners by brainwashing them. International media and

filming academy were barred from filming and broadcasting

the stories about the persecution. The crackdown targeted

women, children and the elderly along with everybody else.

However, the persecution did not work. It failed to stop the

people from practicing. So, the persecution was intensified.

Some of the methods used in the persecution include:

shocking people repeatedly with 30,000 volts electric supply,

burning people to death, forcing 8 month pregnant women tohave abortions, beating people to death, physical torture,

psychiatric torture, psychological abuse, rape and sexual

assault, arbitrary imprisonment and slavery, persecution at

work and school and all forms of unimaginable torture. The following pictures are paintings made by the

practitioners explaining the kinds of torture they met during

their persecution:

guilty five top CCP leaders for their involvement ingenocide and torture against Falun Gong.

2009 December: An Argentine Judge ordered the local

Interpol department to seek the arrest of two high-

ranking CCP officials for their crimes against humanity

for the persecution of Falun Gong.

On August 5, 2009, Dr. Manfred Nowak, the U.N. Special

Rapporteur on Torture, was interviewed by The Epoch Times

newspaper, and he talked about the persecution of Falun Gong

in China.

"Nothing seems to have changed for the better," Dr. Nowak

told the Epoch Times reporter about the current situation of

Falun Gong practitioners persecuted by the Chinese

Communist regime, "The majority of the inmates in these

[forced labour] camps were Falun Gong members. And that is

so frightening, because none of these people were ever given

the benefit of a trial. They were never charged."

In his report submitted to the seventh session of the UnitedNations' Human Rights Council on January 14, 2009, Dr.

Nowak wrote, "Moreover, in many cases, their detention

and/or forced treatment are not subject to judicial review. For

instance, at the time of the Special Rapporteur visit to China,

'enforced drug rehabilitation' programs were a specific form of administrative detention."

In a 2005 trip to China, Dr. Nowak discovered that two-

thirds of the torture cases in labour camps were Falun Gong

practitioners.

A global Human Rights Torch Relay was organized by the

Coalition to Investigate the Persecution on Falun Gong

(CIPFG) which reached every corner of the globe before the

Beijing Olympics 2008 with the request that "Anti-Humanity

Crimes and Olympic Games cannot co-exist in China".

David Matas and David Kilgour in their Report into

Allegations of Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners

in China conclude that the government of China and its

agencies in numerous parts of the country, in particularhospitals but also children detention centres and „people‟s

courts‟, since 1999 have put to death a large but unknownnumber of Falun Gong prisoners of conscience. Their vital

organs, including hearts, kidneys, livers and corneas, werevirtually simultaneously seized involuntarily for sale at high

prices, sometimes to foreigners, who normally face long waits

for voluntary donations of such organs in their home countries.

Following are few pictures that give photographic evidence

of the kind of physical torture:

Even though the world outside China is aware about thebrutal and thuggish ways of the Evil Party, the voice raised

against it is faint. A major reason for it again is corruption at

top political and corporate levels. China is now the global

manufacturing hub in almost everything. The moral values of

today‟s human world are falling a million miles every day.

The time when a human being was valued and protected is far

gone. Power and money has replaced the human moral system.

In 2004 the award-winning Nine Commentaries on the

Communist Party (www.NineCommentaries.com) waspublished by The Epoch Times (www.TheEpochTimes.com),

reporting the true history and nature of the Chinese

regime which has been responsible for about 60 to 80 million

unnatural deaths of its citizens in a few decades. By Sep

2009 each day between 40,000 and 60,000 people were

publicly declaring their withdrawals from the Chinese

Communist Party (CCP) as recorded on the Chinese

Epoch Times website. As of January 2010 more than 670

million Chinese have quit the CCP.

Mr. Gao Zhisheng, named as one of China‟s top tenlawyers by China‟s Ministry of Justice in 2001 was taken

away by the police in August 2006 and held in custody for

three months because he wrote three open letters to China‟s

Chairman and Prime Minister, calling for an end to thepersecution of Falun Gong. He was tortured while in custody.

Thanks to the international attention, his three-year sentence

was suspended. He now remains under house arrest and is

denied the right to practice law.

VII.  RECOMMENDATIONS

The communist Party is essentially an evil cult that harms

mankind. Although the Communist Party has never called

itself a religion, it matches every single trait of a religion. At

the beginning of its establishment, it regarded Marxism as an

absolute truth in the world. It exhorted people to engage in a

life-long struggle for the goal of building a “communist

heaven on earth”. What is most terrifying is that the CCP isgoing all out to try to destroy the moral foundation of the

entire nation, attempting to turn every Chinese national to

various degrees into a scoundrel in order to create an

environment favourable for the CCP to “advance with time.”

Some people may think that the past belongs to the past, the

situation has changed, and the CCP is not the CCP of theearlier era. Some may be satisfied with false appearances and

even mistakenly believe that the CCP has improved, is in the

process of reforming, or intends to make amends. They may

constantly push away troublesome memories of the past. All

these can only give the CCP‟s band of villains to continue tosurvive and threaten mankind.

Having lived under the evil rule of the CCP for over 60

years, the Chinese people do not need a violent revolution;

rather they need redemption of their soul. The Communist

Party stresses ideological control, since it is nothing but an

ideology itself. That ideology will dissipate when all the

Chinese reject the Communist falsehood in their minds;

actively wipe out the Party culture, and rid their own

mentalities and lives of the influences from the communist

evil cult. As people save themselves, the CCP will disintegrate. As it nears death, this Communist evil cult is accelerating

the pace of its corruption and degeneration. What is most

troublesome is that it is stubbornly doing what it can to take

the Chinese nation with it into an abyss of corruption and

degeneration.

All detention facilities, including forced labour

camps, must be opened for international communityinspection through the International Committee for

the Red Cross or other human rights or humanitarian

organization.

Page 7: Human Rights in Global Scenario

http://slidepdf.com/reader/full/human-rights-in-global-scenario 7/7

The sentence against Gao Zhisheng should be lifted. His

right to practise his profession should be restored.

Organ harvesting in China from prisoners should cease.

The military in China should get out of the organ

transplant business.

Organ harvesting of unwilling donors where it is either

systematic or widespread is a crime against humanity.

Criminal authorities in China should investigate the

charge of organ harvesting from unwilling donors forpossible prosecution.

Foreign states should enact extra-territorial legislation

penalizing participation in organ harvesting without

consent.  State medical funding systems should deny

reimbursement for commercial organ transplants abroad

and aftercare funding for those benefiting from such

transplants.

The repression, imprisonment and mistreatment of

Falun Gong practitioners should stop.  The harvesting of organs of Falun Gong practitioners

should cease.

VIII.  CONCLUSIONS

“Every man, woman and child on earth is born free and

equal in dignity and rights. All have reason and conscience

and should be friendly towards one another. Everyone is

entitled to the rights set forth in the Universal Declaration of

the Human Rights. Everyone has the right to live in freedom

and safety. Nobody has the right to treat you as their slave or

torture you. The law is the same for everyone. No one shall be

arrested or put in jail without good reason. Everyone is

innocent until proven guilty. Everyone has the right to movethroughout the world to enjoy freedom from persecution in

other countries. Everyone has the right to think what they

want and say what they like. Everyone has the right to practice

religion freely and organize peacefully. Everyone has the right

to take part in their country‟s political affair. Governmentsshould be voted regularly and all votes are equal. The society

in which one lives should help him/her develop. Everyone has

the right to work and to a fair salary. Everyone has the right to

expect a decent standard of living. Everyone has the right to

go to school. Education should strive to promote peace and

understanding among the people. Everyone has the right to

share in their community‟s arts and sciences. Everyone must

respect the social order that is necessary for these rights to be

available. Nobody shall attempt in any way to destroy the

rights set forth in the Universal Declaration of the HumanRights.”

There is no such right mentioned in the above Universal

Declaration of the Human Rights that the Chinese Communist

Party has not violated. But it still is the supposed next

superpower of the world.

In comparison with China‟s 5000-year history, the 60 years

of the CCP‟s rule are but the blink of an eye. Before the CCPcame into existence, China had created the most significant

civilization in the history of humankind. The CCP seized the

opportunity of China‟s domestic troubles and foreign invasion

to wreck havoc on Chinese nation. It has taken away tens of

millions of lives, destroyed countless families, and sacrificed

the ecological resources upon which China‟s survival depends.

What is even more devastating is the near destruction of

China‟s moral foundation and rich cultural traditions.

What will China‟s future be? What direction will China

take? Such serious questions are too complicated to answer.

However, one thing is for certain-if there is no renewal of

nation‟s morality, no restoration of a harmonious relationshipbetween humans and nature, and between humans, heaven and

earth, if there is no faith and culture for a peaceful coexistence

among humans, it will be impossible for the Chinese nation to

have a bright future.Martin Luther King Jr. Said “Injustice anywhere is a threat

to justice everywhere.” Mahatma Gandhi told “You assist an

evil system most effectively by obeying its orders and decrees.

An evil system never deserves such allegiance. Allegiance to

it means partaking of the evil. A good person will resist an

evil system with his or her soul”This is an appeal to everyone to raise your voice to call for

an end to this inhuman persecution that is a big question to the

morality of humankind and the future. This is a call for global

peace and freedom.
